I know the explanation about the whole situation in the video is pretty long, and can be boring for some viewers. But believe me, for some people, it's necessary! Have a good day!

I understood the part of you explaining the next scene, not every reenactor or history buff knows about the Holocaust, but I do and I can say that it is the most horrendous atrocity made by a nation led by a tyrant hellbent on "Sanitizing" the world, I would reenact as a Waffen-SS soldier, Reichpolizei Officer or any military member of the major nations, but I have morals, I am a kind, smart, and caring person, War is truly Hell on Earth, Not all axis soldiers were bad and not all Allied Soldier were good, in this world we are Human.

You don’t need to apologize about reenacting a terrible part of history. There have been many poignant movies and documentaries on that subject. Germany’s citizens were in the dark about the horrible evils brought on by the few evil people involved. Re-enactments and documentary’s are important so that human beings learn from and don’t repeat. I just can’t believe the totally lost people who say it didn’t happen. In spite of the overwhelming proof. You create such wonderful historical content. Don’t stop, Thank You

I understand you completely. I had family who fought in the war, my great-grandfather in the second world war and my great-great-great-grandfather in the first world war and I know how important it is to show how bad those wars were in an educational way. Thank you Nick! ☺️ Greetings from Antwerp

I'm from Belgium, but I don't know where my great-grandfather fought. I was very young when he died in the early 2000's. But I know for sure that my great-great-grandfather fought on the land, but I don't know his location either. He died in 1934 because of the gasses of the first world war that damaged his lungs.

Nick, you are a very sensitive, and caring young man...I am impressed with how your morals, humanity, and empathy show in your lead up to the camp, I also had family that served in both the ETO as well as the Pacific, and know that from talking with my Grandfathers and Uncles that there were some really tragic things that happened and were committed by all party's involved, but there also were great acts of compassion and humanity shown as well. I hope that you never have to experience the horrors of war and will maintain the love of all that you have now.

@@tavish4699 THANK YOU that is very correct. And the SS were the ones who guarded the camps I'm not sure about the werctmacht I'd have to do more Research on that. But I do think the movie producers or whoever was in charge of casting did a terrible job on research as it would've made more sense for SS to play the guards. And it would have been fair to have let the reenactors know before hand before the filming

I know you will most likely miss this comment but I just wanted to say thank you for sticking this out now onto my actual response. I am very proud that you stuck this out and it was a hard filming process from the looks of it. And I am astonished that you actually didn't leave when you found out what you were gonna do I would have. And you even gave a trigger warning before the camp part which not many people would do. even the uniform inaccuracies and stupid skits and EVEN THE PRODUCERS NOT TELLING YOU ABOUT THE EFFING CAMP FILMING. that clearly made you angry and yet you did lash out or tell them to f off no you did what a good hearted person would do. Now I love your content and I am sorry this wasn't pleasant but I am glad you stuck it out and acted like a reasonable person.

Thank you very much for your kind comment, I really appreciate it!! Yes, it was something really unexpected, and very unorganized.. But I didn't want to let anyone down, especially because I knew it wasn't done for fun, but to make an educational movie. They clearly have a lot to learn, but I knew if we would leave, the whole movie would be a big fail, and I just couldn't let that happen.

Nick, I understand why you felt like you had to explain yourself, repeatedly. But, I believe anyone with an once of common sense knows what you and your friends are all about. You are students of history as well as history reenactors. You portray someone who played a part in WW2. It doesn't mean you, personally, believed in what some individuals did during that horrible time. As the saying goes, if you don't know your history, you are doomed to repeat it! I think the vast majority, I among them, appreciate your content. Keep up the great work, Nick.

I live in Greece, born and raised here, about an hour and a half by car from the village of Kalavrita. For those who don't know, after partisans attached some German troops the Germans retaliated by gunning down all males ages 13 and up on a nearby hill and attempted to burn all the women and children in the primary school of Kalavrita ( in which you can still see the burn marks) and every time I go there my heart just sinks because of what happened. I also have in my family people who fought the Nazis. My grandpa was born in '43 and his father actually fought both the Germans and The Italians. Thank god I got to meet my great grandfather so I also know first hand (as in from stories of my great grandfather) how horrifying and traumatic it was. Much love from Greece and remember brother, No Explanation Needed. Keep educating people about the war. And stay safe and healthy
