I prefer the old documentary style of Modern Marvels (with a voiceover). He had a powerful voice that made it way more interesting. I typically watch Modern Marvels because of the subject described in the episode title, so I don't really care to watch a host walk down a sidewalk and talk into the camera, trying to add flare. No offense to Adam Richman; I think he's great for more adventurous roles, but this one just doesn't suit him.

I used to work in a plant and people wore mask because we were working with chemicals and all other sorts of strong smells. In other areas people worked with smoke & dust. Mask were invented long before Covid and have many other uses.
