Excellent video of John Tyler especially the fact that he was the only president to oppose his own party and expelled from the party, the first president to have an impeachment resolution directed against him, and the only one to serve in both the United States and the Confederacy. Also, can you do History of Impeached Presidents and include the fact that John Tyler and Richard Nixon were the only two presidents that came close to impeachment without being impeached, in which Tyler was the first president Congress unsuccessfully attempted to impeach and Nixon resigned in 1974 before being convicted over his role in the Watergate Scandal.

@@HistoryHeroes you’re welcome. Even though Andrew Johnson, Bill Clinton and Donald Trump were impeached, John Tyler and Richard Nixon faced similar impeachment charges without being impeached.
