Drove through Aurora & Lawrenceburg 4 times a year for about 34-years, to & from Friendship...good times

I wonder how old the Pentecostal church that used to be in Lawrenceburg was. I know Laura Lykins couldn't keep up with it anymore so she sold it and it was torn down. But I was an old building...I just don't how old. It was the big brick church across from the tattoo parlor going towards Greendale with the steep green carpeted steps. And my parents house on Front street right before you hit the hill going down to GMS and LPS was built in the late 1800's. There's only one house after it on the right hand side. The kitchen and porch was built on by my dad and the staircases were very narrow and steep. And there was a door inside the walk-in closet upstairs...but I don't know what was back there...my dad wouldn't let anyone go in it because he was afraid someone could fall through the floor into the room below it. I would have loved to know what was in there though.

Wish this would have focused more on the historical photos instead of the ladies at the picnic table 😞 love history

The Vance house is not in its original location. That was moved there. Stone fence was not around parking lot by convention center. There was never a fence there. Who are these ladies?

These people have no idea where their buildings really came from. They were already there when Lawrenceburg was founded They were built by the Tartanian culture long before the settlers came here
