The programme including Pt 1 makes no mention of the Auxiliaries but just the Black and Tans. The two security forces were not the same, the B&T being considered just dumb and aggressive paramilitaries of largely working class backgrounds, while the Auxiliary Officers were better educated and officer-class men. In Robert Kee`s documentary an IRA member, I think Paddy Byrne, makes the point that the Tans were considered brainless scum, but the Auxiliaries were scary since most had lost everything in the Great War and were utterly fearless ex-Brit Army officers, dangerous men but brave, for whom even the IRA had some respect.

You can't get better that the catholic religion we got our GOSPEL FROM GOD HIMSELF AND HIS APOSTLES WHERE YOU GET YOURS FROM THE SHORTEN VERSION OF THE CATHOLIC BIBLE YOU DIDN'T GET IT FROM GOD ALONE. .
