Very good job!!! I also liked the Tim Richmond shirt!!! Tim could really wheel a car no matter what is was!!! If Tim would not have died Earnhardt would not have been a 7 time Winston Cup Champion. Please do a Tim Richmond story!!!

I loved the Ascot picture on the wall of his shop. Such great memories of an awesome family. The first midget I drove was a Curtis with a flat head 6 Studebaker that came from Indianapolis in 1968 when I was 16, I will never forget the first Offy I drove in 1969, my senior year of high school. Thanks for the memories Don

Didn't realize you raced an Offy; that's incredible. There is just something special about a Kurtis Kraft open-wheel car with an Offy...some of the prettiest race cars ever built. Thanks again, Greg...HMM

thats quite a collection in just the cars and engines, but they used HANDBREAKS BACK IN THE DAY thats crazy with that much speed no footbreak I thought in the pictures of the drivers reaching outside the cockpit with the lever was for shifting gears, that was the brake thats crazy and putting a car backtogather after that wicked flip in a week that cut it into shows what they were made of back in the day but yea hes lucky to walk away from that one to race again.

Rob may well have been the youngest crew chief in the actual 500 at 20 but when Todd Gibson (who is listed as a Hoffman driver on their shirt) tried to qualify for the 500, his son Gene Lee Gibson was his crew chief and was 17. They did not make the race however.
