It's called Hit Clip because on our music channel, which was the channel 6 on Tv, there were 2 really famous music show ever week, one was called "Hit Machine" sorting all the best songs from 50 to N°1, and "Fan De" which was more about the singer themselves, people and tabloid articles. He clearly talking like Séverine Ferrer, the main speaker of Fan De.

This sketch is great but I think it might be hard for someone who isn't French to understand everything since there are a lot of French references. The first artist parodied is Keen'V, and it's to make fun of these artists who pretend to be romantic but sing very s*xual and questionable lyrics about women x). The second is to make fun of French "bobos" artists which means "Bourgeois-bohemian", you'll usually find them in Paris x). The male artist parodied in particular here is Yodelice. And the last artist parodied is a kind of mainstream rapper called Maitre Gims.

Unfortunately, when they do music, they do parodies of French music, so it might be less laughable if you don't know the music and the musicians. Regarding the copyrights, I'm wondering if there are issue with the TV rights, because they had a TV show (a few prime-times, and a daily one) where they put their videos with two TV channels (TF1 & C8 if I remember correctly and I guess were financed/helped by them), so that might be the reason.
