For some reason this film has received lots of 1 star reviews from the general movie audience on RT. Not why exactly why. It's not a bad film by any means. I watched and enjoyed it. It drags a little and I think could have been shortened a bit but ultimately it's satisfying. Would I want to watch it again? No. But it's good for a single watching.
@ijump-bounce22834 ай бұрын
People setting 1 star definitely didn't get it i guess, the movie was really great and the acting was on point, was that the movie of the decade, well no, but definitely a great movie to watch for sure, in some way it was almost "simple" but very atypical at the same time and there were lots of suspense, and there were no need at all for it to be shortened, the storyline is honestly really good and you have every elements and questionning such as "is it moral to do something like that or not ? Customing yourself as the best looking guy in order to have the person trusting you easily or should we understand that the motives of someone can be due to something way more different than "i don't like him he has a dog, kill him", many horizons could be exploree and they did well without pushing too far at all and without losing us at all about understanding. It was genuinely good yep ^^

The thing bout Glen Powell is that he lacks that certain charisma of a star who could come to the screen and do nothing but still be the show stealer. It has nothing to do with looks or acting skill cause he sure has both but still that inner charisma of a leading man feels missing for him 🫠

Actually one of the worst movies and plots I have ever seen. The actress does not know what acting means (other than staring with starry eyes and an open mouth in the most inappropriate situations). I honestly don’t get what people like about it. If it didn’t try to be so many things at the same time and it just told the story of the hit man with no love/fifty shades bs, it would have been enjoyable as a cosy comedy.
