Most definitely a hit. Personally, I think Will Harbottle does the best female sculpts out there. I'm not overly keen on the forced perspective but overall a fantastic piece and looking to be one of the best Psylocke statues out there. Hats have to go off to Sideshow because other companies prices are going bonkers right now and they seem to be sticking to fairly sensible pricing. And yes Chris, I think you should get her and have her customised as Talia al Ghul.

This statue is incredible. I missed out on the only modern day xmen sideshow collectible and it happened to be psylocke. I'm glad they are making another one. Definitely adding this to my collection

Neither a Hit or a Miss.. i like the statue. The additional rear base concept with moon i am less sold on. I am in two minds with regards to the crouch pose, as i have see it before, and better suited to other characters. I would possibly consider picking this up if i did not already own a 1/4 Psylocke. Fact is i do, thus there is no decision to make ^_^ ..i the Sideshow Psylocke in my collection is the previous Psylocke wearing black (with the better portrait) and in my eye's, she looks way better than the latest Psylocke from Sideshow Collectibles

I actually think that's a great idea, there's a KZbinr that i follow named VinceVellCUSTOMS he does awesome work. I don't know if he's taking any clients right now but i would look into him. Changing an existing statue into another character is something i've wanted to do for awhile now. I have the Sideshow John Steward GL and Harkgirl, i've been thinking about changing my OG Catwoman PF into a Vixen to complete the love triangle. lol. I also have a 1/3 ARH Studios Arkhalla statue that i would love to turn into an Aaliyah Queen of the Damned movie statue. Like you said some characters statue companies probably won't make. Customs might be the way to go.

It’s a definite hit for me. I already preordered it. It’s one of the best looking Psylocke statues I’ve seen so far. It certainly has the best looking portrait Ive seen of her. Most of the time they make her look too masculine and Caucasian, but her face looks strong, yet feminine at the same time and she actually looks Asian. I do like the psyblade better on the XM one and the fact that the XM one has the butterfly effect, but the Sideshow one still looks really cool. My only big complaint is that I wish it was Kwannon instead of Betsy. They fixed the body swap 3 years ago, so it would be nice if statue companies would start reflecting the current comics. Kwannon is now Psylocke and Betsy is now Captain Britain. I know a ton of Betsy fans who have been waiting years for these statue companies to make statues of her in some of her many other costumes, but they keep doing this version. I think I’m going to paint her hair black when I get her to turn her into Kwannon. If I can, I’ll do the same to her costume to look like her current costume.

I been waiting for a new Psylocke for years and finally Sideshow dropped this beautiful looking piece! I almost pulled the trigger on the XM piece but I wasn't to happy with the portraits and the pose/base seemed somewhat off to me. The body sculpt on Sideshow's last Psylocke is absolutely Amazing but we all know the portrait went from Meh to BAD. In my opinion Sideshow finally put it all together here and I simply had to instantly buy her as soon as she dropped (Definitely a Hit). I would love to see you customize this piece to a Talia al Ghul!

Sorry in advance for the convoluted reply. As a fan of this character, Im always exctied to see statues produced of her. The first SS EX version of Psylocke was my very first 1/4 staute purchase in this hobby all those years ago, and I still proudly own it. The 2nd and 3rd (repaint) versions I ultimately passed on because I was not satasfued with the head sculpt. As for this 3rd SS reveal, it is a hit. It has got a good pose and portrait. And the price point is decent for collectors want to stay in that midrange budget. That being said this is an easy pass for me as I have the custom Psylocke by "EXO" coming later this summer. As she is presented in a more dynamic pose and has 4 beautiful and expressive portrait switch outs options to choose from. Granted it is twice the price of this upcoming SS release, but it is worth it to me because again, I am a huge fan of this character. The Talia conversion sounds like a great idea. Id be intrested to see how you produce that. Although commissioning an original piece would probably be a more convenient choice, I can understand why you cannot go that route. I think it could almost work as a talia, if you repaint the hair, eyes, skin etc. However while Talia is mixed, this psylocke look almost 100% Asian to me. I take that back, Well from the front and far away I can see some talia.

Ima Disabled Veteran on a fixed income. As a Poor this is a Hit as a statue, but a Miss in terms of purchase. I don't like Psylocke enough to drop that much on it.

I hate the force perspective part of the base. Just looks weird when you look at it in certain angles. Same for Sideshow Gwen statue. The female sculpt is great but the base ruins it for me.

Batman statue collector after you mentioned Natalya Al'Ghul statue, on this video, i think the respective statue companies such as XM, Sideshow, Prime 1 or a custom un-licensed brands will probably take under advisement in the near future so with that said just wait on it for awhile and hold off on pre-ordering the new Psylock statue. It's sounds like a creative idea but at the end what will you'll do when the Natalya Al'Ghul, statue is announced once you jumped the gun alewady on re-creating the Psylock statue in your personal possession making it a DC character where your not able to re-sale that statue anymore should any of the respective statue companies or un-licensed come up with a better cool looking Natalya A'Ghul statue that know one has ever seen or thought to have seen ever? It's best not to spend money on any statue you might either regret or be disappointed how the statue you want to re-create turn out the way you didn't want it the as you envisioned it, on top of that to find a statue artist to comission the work for you with your ideas can and will probably be costly about thousands of dollars more than what the statue is worth if you had bought it. I'd say don't do it. It'll de-value the original artwork of the statue and it will just be a mess taking up space you don't want not knowing what to do with it or who you would want to sell it to? It's a hassle you don't want to deal with. Save your money and just wait a little eventually something better will come along. Good things will happen to those who wait. Amen and amen. I like the tableau. Glad they included the hand going for the katana swap out. The one exhibiting her power looks a little awkward. The portrait is a step up from others I have seen but not as good as the 1/10th Iron Studios. Points for looking more Asian.

It’s ok, they are toning down on the sex appeal. I’ve noticed that the first marvel sideshows are more of a comic book inspired by giving them that more sexy shape but these the paint is good but they toned down that sexiness that I loved about the first ones. I think this statue is going for that female empowerment and not so much for the male fans.
