Not my best work eh? haha I know guys :) If you've watched any other HTT episode I absolutely ALWAYS appreciate feedback on the performances. But you gotta realise that you ask me to play and sound like the greatest players on earth and well... I humanly can't be 100% on point every-time! Sorry about that but I'm far from there. I'm doing my very best to bring you at least some advice on how to get there yourself even if I fail to. I'll do better next week :) Have a great week y'all and see you next Monday

At least Guillaume, you did it, would love to hear/watch all the critics do it all alone in a room 😏😋😂

The way I understand (and appreciate) this show is that it‘s supposed to help get to the desired tone with what most of us already have at home and without busting the bank (unless chosen so, lol). Don‘t let the haters get to you Guillaume, there are few tone vids out there like these ones!! Thanks for more 😃

Come on, guys! Guillome is doing a good job. Don't complain on saying that sounds different, not equal as the original. That's not the point. This video is a very good approach to it. I wish I could learn from videos videos like this back in the 90s. We only had tapes from magazines, horrible gear and everything by hear. Off course, no one will ever sound like Gary Moore. Still Got The Blues along Parisienne Walkways, side by side, are two songs that need a lot of emotion to put on it. And is not easy to play in this way as a tutorial. As far as the tone is concerning, I think Guillome put a very very good tone on this. In a live situation, just put some reverb/Delay to lush the thing. Well done.

Ok, I‘m not gonna lie - I was so inspired by this episode that I bought a Marshall Guv‘nor pedal from the 80‘s on reverb 😂

Salü, your a real good Guitarrist and your knowledge about Gear, Sounds etc. is absolutely great, no doubt about, everyone who claime the opposite, is a boast. And I tell you a secret, Gary played the Marshall with full Gain without any Distortion/ Overdrive. Only live with the Guvnor and only with the Strat Boss DS1. Thats what I saw, back then....

Guillome I love that tone . Managed to get it with a PRS Tremonti SE, kemper profiler using a jtm 800 ( I think) and a ts808 generic tube screamer but I put the reverb on about 7 percent and annoyed the neighbours Thank Guillome love this series What about going old school Jonnie B Good or Bad to the Bone Cheers stay safe 👍

It`s nothing to do with technical stuff. It`s how you play it that counts. You have to put your emotions into it,

Gary never used any pedals into a totally clean amp. His amps were all set to slight crunch and he used his volume controls to go to a clean tone. Boosted the amp with drive pedals. Also he is very well known for using a lot of reverb so your tone is way to dry

I think, that the last bend needs to be on G string, otherwise it is hard to get to sound good. Also Id say, on both album and live there is some reverb and delay going on, making the bends easier. Without some space effects is close t o impossible get those bends to sound good. Also some kind of backing track makes it sound waaay better. Notice, that just as he hits the first bend, band start to play with him. The isolated guitar track is not a treat to listen to. I think the tone is pretty close to his live sound (at least, those I remember). Maybe using the JHS side of Angry driver as source of gain will get you closer, as the sound is pretty focused. Maybe less clean blend on the Moonshine. Hard to say, how it sounded in the room. Or you can try metal zone, like Ola: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fn3Oc52Eqrh6btk
