Ngl, this is one of the scummiest ways to play SoT. Don't push your stupid PvP agenda on to alliance servers. Go find a proper fight... this is the reason why Rare are creating an entire server for casual players. People who do this ruin the game. It's fine to be a pirate, loot, sink, steal and all that. But pretending to be somebody's friend so that you can ruin their day and steal from them is such a piece of shit move. It goes against everything I consider to be pirate code.

the whole idea of a pirate is that you can't trust them since they believe to be fully free so they can hurt you but also be nice, that's the essense and if you believe all pirates are supposed to be nice then you should try watch something like pirates of the carrebian(probably spelled wrong) where you get the full effect of piracy, take stuff which isn't yours, be happy with your crew, have parties, build new relations, betray people and said relations for your own gain, be free at sea. Also safer seas isn't for alliances, it's for new players or tall talers since you can only sail it with your one crew not with others. (1 crew on 1 private server)

@@Heranitas I agree with you. I'm not saying that I'm not okay with being a dishonest thieving pirate. That's the whole point. Having the risk of losing your shit due to another player getting the better of you is to be expected. I'm saying that you are already taking a bunch of players who are unequiped and ill prepared for PvP and who are probably not even experienced at it, and you're take a couple of very talented and experienced PvPers prepping and setting up and ambush. That's not okay... it's the same thing as taking a high ranking player in any FPS and matching them against a larger group of much lower ranked players. You wouldn't praise them for smurfing in a normal fps, right? Why praise somebody for doing it in SoT? If you want a pointless win so badly, go install hacks... it's the same feeling of excitement.

@@professorsypher6174 Sea of Theives teaches you how to swim by throwing you into the river, there is no matchmaking or ranking system in open-world PvP, and no matter how inept at PvP you are, you aren't entitled to a server. Especially not an artificial alliance server. Sink or swim. If you're not willing to participate in an entire half of the intended game experience, you're playing the wrong game.
