From personal experience a lot of the toxicity I see in SoT come from two groups, overly confident PVPers, And the people that play the game and expect others to play it as if it was only PVE. The thing about this voyage is you have to specifically sign up, and you know it's PVP orientated. Thus only players who feel like getting into engagements, and don't want to bully newer players, are the ones who are doing it. The new voyage almost acts like a new game mode if you think about it, and it seems to be really helpful for the community. Siren Skull is definitely one of my favorite additions, and I love the way it's given More of the casual but still here for engagement playstyle.

a little plus imo, is that it's really fast to do. you only have to go to 3 islands, so when you lose it, it's not a enormous time loss

Overall, I agree completely. We ran into kne ridiculously angry/aggressive crew last night, they beat us, took it. Scored it. When we sailed back to them with the Alliance flag flying, to offer GGs to them, they once again went on the offensive, very aggressively attacking and sinking us so we just hopped servers and had fun for the rest of the night as well Definitely an unusual thing in this event so far, though. Great job imitating Briggsy though, Hitbo!

you dont create world, its preset servers, and if you are sailing then there are other people on the server already you have 2 options, closed crew which means random people dont join your crew, but other players are still in the world, and open crew, which makes it so random players join your ship
