I’m back on the horse ‘hitching’ a ride with the mordant atheists! Apologies if my new bronzed nature scares your children!

I’m surprised you don’t keep a diary Joe! You seem to be doing every other kind of writing. I’ll be taking down my copy of Arguably here soon; I would like to rend into Hitchens as you do here.

It seems like it is an improvement in moralle thinking, idea about new commandements. Are they new, does the title suggest change in moralle in modern world, or proposes something different, some form of return to older norms? It can also argue that moralle is social construction, and lots of other things. It is interesting.

I do not think it is about religious fanatics that do not want to write new ones, or keep the status quo, probably ignorance is what matters, and lots of other factors. Refusal to reevaluate such norms would signify more attempt to cover up lack of competence in the field, or corruption that brought inadequate person to position who wants to keep steady income and not do what he or she is payed for. Considering style of communicating or social structures in some parts of the world, idea of rewriting moral norms is probably offensive suggestion, or great opportunity to defend low moral standards as a will/act of devil. This is not in accordance with Bible, so that would mean a great conflict with the church authority, unless it is in philosophical domain, which obviously is. But if there is a morale category not yet discovered or prescribed, that would mean a lot for the philosophy in general.

9:03 If the idea that is presented is idea of conflict with god, it should look and be differently written and proposed. Really vague and unclear, especially the relationship to meaning of life and significance of God. That theme, finding meaning etc. can probably be more thouroughly or better explained by a therapist or life coach of some kind, and definitely a syde theme, not the main one, but I do understand why does it appear and questions.

11:02 this thing about killing, mentioned, is obviously a Biblical tale, full of tales and rewrites, hundred of years after birth of the Christ, so the writer cannot know for fact if it really happened. It is obvious that he wants to make a comparison and state the attrocities are not fair, and definitely are not. However, the main problem is the presupposition of benevolence of God, and weird idea that God is somehow benevolent and no thing will ever happen to an individual during lifetime, which is so obviously absurd. The book is really interesting, it does address some important questions and prejudices. However, I do think the moral proposition of the story is clear, eventhough it sounds vague, and maybe the original message was lost due to transcriptions: violence, criminal acts, threats with blasphemy and with devious criminals etc.will not be tolarated and be brutally prosecuted in return. That was probably meant by breaking of tablets, simbolically.

12:34 Why not? Talking about Christian subjects is great for change. English is great language, indeed

He does not seem as Hitch-athon, but he is definitely smart. I do not think he nurtures ideas of himself being a God, and that your title subtly suggests. Maybe I am mistaken, and maybe his ideas or revelations on a topic felt like divine interventions, his ideas are really thought provoking. Is there another way to describe his brilliance and genius in a title?

You wanted to say truth seekers, but I do agree that truth is boring and really hard to find, with all the infofmation so available. About the beginning, well, there are other possibilities, but it is so irrelevant

This appropriate hair style is boring, and this thing about Twitter, well, it is really irrelevant and boring, I would not bother with it if I were you.

The start of the topic is really interesting, about the new branch philosophy, if I am not mistaken.

And do try to relax, you are obviously smart, nobody with good intentions judges you. This kind presentation scares people off, and probably and unfortunately some girls 😢. It is a great call to conversation and interesting topic, so do relax, please. Thank you 🍫
