Then there are players who we will probably technically 'lose' on as we tend to keep hold of our best players. Steer has played just 19 league games for Villa since 2013 {36 total games incl. cups} and has been sent out on loan to Doncaster, Yeovil, Huddersfield and Charlton in that period so NO, He's not better than Ruddy! - I didn't want to fill up the bench with every position but yes I'd agree that Targett is at least the second best English LB playing for a Midlands Club behind Ryan Bertrand. Targett's only played 5 games for Villa this season and yes Bertrand's only played 10 for Leicester but Bertrand's also played 19 games for England during his career whilst Targett's never got a senior cap! - Coady's the best English Centre Back in the Premier League right now, never mind just at Midlands clubs! Konsa's 24 now and he still doesn't have a single call-up to the England squad! Sorry NO! As were talking about loans Ruddy was going to multiple teams a season for a while before going to Norwich which then he made the switch to Wolves after a few seasons which he is also back up now he only had one season as first choice 68 apps for Wolves 45 in championship 3 in Premier League 11 in the FA Cup 7 in the League Cup and 2 in Europa League he isn't a starting Keeper and besides Johnstone has already played more matches for England then him. @@dennisgoatimer1079 Ruddy played four Premier League seasons for Norwich and was first choice keeper in at least 3 of those, I don't know if his 15 games in 2012/13 were as backup or if he got injured. Wolves went for a verified World Class Goalkeeper in Rui Patricio when we came up and Sa may not be on Patricio's level but he's let in just 14 goals in 18 games, Only City and Chelsea have let in less! - Let me state that again - Wolves have let in just 14 goals in the Premier League this season....Our problems have been up front! Villa meanwhile have let in 28 goals whilst Leicester have let in 33! Johnstone may have 3 caps to Ruddy's 1 but it's still only 3 caps and Johnstone and the Baggies are still only 4th in the Championship right now....Like Wolves they're not letting in many goals but also like Wolves they're not scoring many either so it may be close but I'm still going to give the benefit of the doubt to the 35 year old over the 28 year old. Ruddy's loan spells all came over a decade ago with his last covering 34 SPL games for Motherwell in 2009/10 - A season where they finished 5th! Norwich like Albion are a Yo-Yo team but that's not Ruddy's OR Johnstone's fault. HOWEVER... Since Johnstone left Man U he's played 6 seasons for Villa and Albion...Only one of which has been in the Premier League! - Again.....Next season yes, if Wolves, Villa and Leicester don't find a new English Keeper then Johnstone will be most likely the best English keeper in the Midlands - Ruddy will be 36 by then and probably still on the bench at Wolves. And IF the Baggies come up and Johnstone remains their first choice keeper it would be churlish of me to not accept him as the best English keeper in the Midlands at that point... BUT FOR NOW Ruddy still has the advantage.

Premier League Biggest Spenders: 2022-2040: Newcastle United I'm surprised you didn't mention Newcastle United for the 2021/2022 season, or even looking forwards. Their new owners dwarf the likes of Chelsea and Man City in terms of wealth! They SHOULD be the next new title winners at some point in the relatively near future.

@@TeamOfThe80s we have 19 games to make up 3 points. Some investment in jan, I think we’ll be ok. It’s not like any of the teams around us are running away from the relegation zone like. Even if we go down we’ll just come back, we’ve done it twice before plus if you’d told me a couple years ago we’d go down but get the takeover I’d take it. Nobody is actually saying let’s sign Mbappe and Haaland the level of player we should be looking at is players like Ward Prowse, Tarkowski, Lingard etc.
@dennisgoatimer10792 жыл бұрын
@@joeycobainjn Yea true it does suck that the owners also own a country but atleast it's too a good club not like City. I wonder how many would actually sign as your in a relegation battle maybe some would for the money but not all but I hope Lingard comes to my club Villa he is out of contract at the end of the season so would be dirt cheap and would improve our attacking options it would be a statement signing if it went through

@@GiftedGaz78 They will not understand... Rich club keeps on getting rich....due to trophies they won....Like ,Man Utd and Arsenal in 1900's and 2000's were already rich....And they won literally everything giving others no chance to come through ranks.... Now every big players will come to team who can win trophies.....To win trophies you need money ... That's why I can't understand why these guys keep on getting triggered just by someone surpassed your club... By having more money . Man utd , Liverpool , Arsenal all were successful because they had money hince they had best players ... Now Chelsea and Man city have money and these kids just keeps crying on internet..... Man city buys a lot of players ...But they don't buyed even a single player who were top 5 in their respective position in world in last 5 years.... Stop getting triggered kids ...Man city and Chelsea are successful because they plays well ...and they spent money wisely to make team ... They didn't spent 100-150 million on anyone (Like Man utd Or Liverpool).... Instead they buyed 3 player for same amount....
@Johndoe-gf7eu2 жыл бұрын
@@SatyamSingh0702 no ones triggered. Everything you say doesn’t make sense and is irrelevant. Did you not watch the video? United only topped the spending chart 3 times in 26 years. We didn’t need to spend big to win. Thats the point you fool. Thats why people say man city bought the league, becos you wouldn’t have anything without it. If you have a league where one club is richer than the rest how is that fair? ‘All clubs buy success’ yes but not all clubs can buy more guaranteed success you fools
@SatyamSingh07022 жыл бұрын
@@Johndoe-gf7eu You don't understand things do you ... Man city also topped the spending chart 6-7 times... Now there is a difference here.... Man utd had a good team from 90's All they need was to replace 2-3 players in 4-5 years to maintain a good squad and squad depth . That's why they didn't came anywhere near in spending chart.. Whereas Man city have to build team from scratch. Changing every player to make a decent team . Ofcourse you have to spend big. That too when there owner was changed in 2008 .At first they bought should decent players as no world class players will come to a midtable team. Then they have to keep improving quality of players to make a trophy Winning team .. But yeah if you will think from biased point of view ofcourse you will find it difficult to understand.And yeah Man utd have better individuals than City. Unlike United City don't spend 100-150 million on a single player often. United are playing bad and that's a reality you guys are not ready to learn. You will always cry that City spends big .In this decade over all MAN UTD HAVE SPENT MORE THAN MAN CITY WITH NO RESULTS.
