By the time klopp came we’d lost Suarez studge was constantly injured so his best striking option was origi our defence was terrible and migs was below what we needed as a keeper yet klopp still made the Europa League final. That final against Sevilla was played at FC Basel's Stadium (St.Jakob Park). If you don't know about FC Basel, this club has been crumbling from one of the most successful club in the country to on verge of going down to the second tier of the Swiss Super League! This wasn't a big improvement for the club that qualified for the Champions League Round of 16 on three occasions and even reached the Conference League semifinal the last season.

@Zahrul3
@Zahrul3 11 ай бұрын
I think so! City at that time almost always played some kind of 4-4-2 with Yaya in the middle, next to a hard tackling dude that rarely touched the ball. David Silva played down the left and Nasri down the right, sometimes it was Jesus Navas and Milner was the utility bench guy who could play all those positions. Sergio Aguero was always partnered with some tall guy, it was Dzeko, then Jovetic, then Negredo!

@@eshmaelmlambo9682 From what I could see (I find the sacking of Dignley to be strange considering Vince's previous comments about her), I suspect all this has happened because Vince probably believes he's taken FGR as far as he could (considering his financial resources)...and has either lost interest or doesn't know where to go from here. While the perception is that players are excessively overpaid for kicking a ball a few times a week, the reality is, the competition to get that pay check is extremely cutthroat and cruel. Sometimes it even takes chance encounters to make it despite your talent. Just look at players like Vardy and Martinelli, they could have easily stayed in the lower leagues if not for the scouts that discovered them. Having joined a prestigious academy isn’t always a guarantee.

Pep couldn't win a single UCL without cheating. In 09, it was against Chelsea. In 11 it was against Arsenal. And this year it was all the effing way. Pep just can't seem to win the Champions League without using Game Genie/Action Replay. Disgusting. What a bald fraud. He's almost as bad as Adolf. If he wants to flaunt his riches that effing much, he should just go manage Al-Wahda in Dubai or something. Klopp, on the other hand, managed to actually win it in 2019 without cheating. And as an added bonus, with a great comeback on the way. Yes, the final was boring, but make no mistake about it. Klopp is better than Pep in every which way, despite the latter having won more Bundesliga titles.

Probably outside of Alfie’s usual wheelhouse to be fair. It’d be an interesting video tho.
