To be fair, when Noble broke into West Ham's first team he was brilliant for his age. But he just never improved, if anything the years of negative football at West Ham made him a worse player. He was at his best during the 15/16 season when West Ham played exciting football with Payet. Grafts in a defensive system but actually thrives in a more attacking one.
