"The lightest putter in the world" sounds like a great marketing tag for about 3 seconds until you think about it. Putting is almost entirely an exercise in weight distribution. Your goal can't be to remove that variable completely when creating a viable product.
@GaryCahuengaАй бұрын
Right, you'd think they would have done all the weight saving so then they could add perimeter weighting to make it more stable/forgiving and bring it up to a typical weight
@EverettJohnson-js2zwАй бұрын
Exactly. Based on the physics of the golf swing, putter stroke etc, why would they think making it lighter at the head is a good idea?
@EmptyMind307Ай бұрын
Add to that that the average golfer will have longer putts that will need some weight behind them. To me it will force the user to have to hit the ball much harder, causing the introduction of more mistakes with stroke and/or off center hits

They didn't even mention in the video anything about warranty or anything, maybe if this happened to you they would send you a free replacement but that wasn't discussed which is sloppy for a review channel this big. Putting is like a pendulem on a clock, the weight at the bottom was paramount to the clock's efficiency. Taking all the weight away, is counter productive, unless you then add the weight as far to the back and sides as possible, as they do with the 10k drivers, making it more stable. Whoever engineered this, forgot some of the principles in making good putters.
@knightriderkitt3000Ай бұрын
I’m curious if the thread issue is due to different materials. Those weights look to be firmer material than the head. It may have been smarter for them to make an exterior weight carrier made of the same material as the putter and the central core of the weight is where the different material lies to change the head weight of the putter.
