I thing the even said/wrote that she realldy didnt care much for her husband Josef but married him because of wealth/power as well the possibility to be close to the Führer. Josef and Magda planned to divorce but that was prevented by Hitler due to public outrage. She named her 6 children from her second marriage all something with H because they should start with the same letter als Hitler. She also killed her children in the movie although it is not 100% clear if she killed them in real life. Magda was obsessed with Hitler but could control it.
