@anandisrocking0074 жыл бұрын
@Arunava Guhathakurta What ever he admired the point is he was worst than churchill also if india would have been taken at that time it would have been turned into a puppet/fascist state just like france .burma and almost all of the colonies the axis power had captured not to mention it would have been open to invasion from the allied power and the nuclear bomb. India would have not been able to revolt in 1947 if half the population war killed in WW2 also there were international pressure to decolonize which would have been reduced by a lot if you sided with the nazi. The point is this was a way better outcome than invasion.

@Arunava Guhathakurta talk logic and not i am proud indian wishfull thinking the manhattam project costed 23 billion US Dollars (2077355000000 Rupees) inflation counted not to mention we did not even have the research to even research the bomb and the infrastructure the american had to build machines which were never used before and half of our population was starving. So you are telling me we should go into the war sacrifice more than half of our few billion hungry population turn our country into puppet fascist state considering the nazi would not allow any other form of government make us second class citizen because the nazi thought they were superior risk our land turning into a nuclear warzone and if we lost the war which very likely, i don't think we would have got independence. Simply put you are telling that 2-3 years earlier fascist indepence is better than democracy independence.

The British quit India not because of Gandhi's non-violent struggle for independence but because of the fear of Bose's mighty army post WWII. Just wondering what was Nehru's contribution, and Jinnah split the country on basis of religion.

I'd choose Bose every single time. I Believe Bose brought India Independence and not Gandhi.
