Stunning drone footage of the guns and area. The guns look like they are being preserved to some degree, unusual to find the panels with all the gauges and dials intact. Good to know you are looking after yourselves on those precarious slopes. Thanks for taking us along on another fantastic journey.

My gosh, the Germans build lots of amazing positions, but concrete mountains used to place artillery , unreal! I am so surprised that the dial indicators were still in place on the guns that you visited. I am glad no one has destroyed them. Looked like the direct fire sight was removed from that large gun placement. Pictures of them installing the guns and building the facilities must be interesting if they exist. What an amazing project! The scenery is just beautiful! Scary hike to the top of the observation bunker! Too bad you can't get inside! Great video and tour of this place, another THT hit! Thanks for taking us along! Stay safe and stay well!

Great site HH. A serious amount of concrete was used for all of it. At 22:00 on the left cliff edge notice the jib crane mount to lift the gun up onto the platform then the placement crane takes over. Just the shear amount to get the cranes in place alone is fantastic. At 10:00, the fuses that are still there and intact is just great. Knowing younger people now-a-days, it is a thrill to see them still there. Was the site controlled by Heer or Kreig marine? Noticed the door at 4:50 remined me of a companion way hatch. EE, glad you had a great time. HH another great video effort, beautiful drone addition. Stay safe and well, regards to the family.

Probably one of the most stunning Observation Bunkers ever made. The whole set up is very reminiscent of a battleship or cruiser, with the "bridge" overlooking the gun emplacements like that. The drone footage really gives you a sense of the immensity of the construction. And kudos to you both for climbing up to the top! That spectacular 360 degree view from up there was amazing, and certainly shows why they went to so much effort to build that there. Love that fact that the guns are still there, and weren't just scrapped, like most everything else, after the war. They really give you the sense of how imposing that whole fortress was, over the landscape. Thank you both for sharing this incredibly unique fortress with us. Stay safe!

LOL, when I first saw the fire control bunker from the front the first thing I thought was it did look like an Imperial Star Destroyer from Star Wars. The gauges and electrical connections you showed look almost brand new. The way Eagle Eyes struggled to get into that gun, it was a good thing he didn’t have a snack while in there. He may not have gotten out lol. It’s just amazing all the guns are still there. Each one seems to be well placed. It was interesting to see the notches cut out where the shells come out so they could get their hands under them. Then seeing the electrical boxes with the wires and lids still there in the ammunition storage. What a great location and very interesting.

I wish I could open the bunkers so people could take tours through the bunkers and see the history in the bunkers. Does not matter what country history should never be lost. With out we can not know the mistakes that were made in the past. My Dad made sure I learned some of the history from the revolutionary war and the civil was. I've been to Gettysburg Pennsylvania to see the battlefield and learn of the history here so close to my home. And then I learned that the Gettysburg battle is part of my family's past. I've been to Gettysburg twice and I learned from both visits and walking in the footsteps of my ancestors was a moving experience. Thank you for bringing history to us.

OH MY GRAVY!!! Stunning views and amazing guns!!! Watching it, I was trying to imagine how they brought in all the material, guns, etc to build all those features. Loved how someone is preserving them too. Too bad you couldn't have gotten into the control area bunker; now that would have been something to see. I noticed at the base of that there was a long metal pipe; any idea what it was? I was thinking something for drainage maybe????? Also noticed a building below one of the guns; possible a replica of what a barracks would have looked like then???? Just a thought lol. I scan and look everywhere in your videos. Thanks to EE for his explanation and tour guide on one of the guns; well done young man. Love how you are actually or you did actually "touch" history. Thanks for taking us to this location. Thanks EE, I didn't realize they had to pull the rope to fire the gun. Guess I'm too used to everything done by pushing a button. That was a very interesting complex. Touch some more history for us.

The guns are magnificent and aptly topped by the control bunker. The control bunker does look like something out of Star Wars. The Germans certainly had an eye for strong sites and huge guns. HH and EE please stay safe and don’t get too happy climbing around sites like these.

Hi HH & EE, It's just like the castles, from a high position you can see the enemy coming. 7:00 Very special that the artillery is in such good condition. Is this a museum location?

I do know how they make poured concrete agricultural silos! They have a hookup which is not much more than a pulley a rope and buckets! They were able to raise the pulley above them as they went up and then of course they had to work around the outside of the perimeter,, so I would imagine if they would attach a metal beam to the top of the mountain they could have a bucket system to get concrete up there?! Something a little bit better than a bucket I'm sure.
