you can play on casual and find ways to kill someone (casual is for training some kills) and professional is for attempting and improvising your ways and master is just there for perfect execution

Soder is not a real NPC, the game developer code him as an object like the virus in Sapienza, that's why you can shoot him or throw explosive at him without worrying about body found penalty. If you don't trust me just go into the game and use a silence weapon to shoot him.

BuShi Do the katana was stuck in the ground it had no sheath to begin with, its tied by a rope around his back, also it would probably make more noise if you constantly had to draw it from the sheath.
