Yeah, he was actually spotted when he took the shot because a guard noticed him while he was aiming. He just didn't realize it said "crime noticed" because he was watching the spectacle of the agent being crushed to death. Which, well, fair enough.

There is one part where you can get surrounded by agents and kick a table (or a desk, actually) at them and start shooting. If you're good at direct combat you can finish off five agents right there... I'm not good at direct combat.

To be fair, while they telegraphed the importance of the fixture I had to look up how to do it in the end, wasn’t very intuitive is what I’m saying. But your point is valid, even when he plans well there’s a chance of Mike going random. The 3 ways to play works so well because it’s how Hitman is really meant to be explored but also each player’s style has a refreshing chance to be different from your own. I’d have loved for them to do it again for every stage, they’re certainly full enough! Though apparently that would destroy them in editing...

I'm terrible at stealth and I just know that if I were to start playing Hitman I'd struggle to get more than 1 or 2 stars for most missions. I just get impatient if I'm stuck waiting, and then when things go bad, I just shrug and go in guns blazing.

Yeah it definitely had a horror game vibe to it. The music was actually really well done in Hitman 3 during story moments, the eerie silence during that part, the ominious music at the end of the Dartmoor mission when things go south over the earpiece and Chongqing in general.

I'm just pleased to know there's a way to play Berlin that isn't just *run around until something works.* When I played one of the targets walked through a wall to get away from me and the counter messed up so I had to kill a civilian to escape. Now I'm stuck editing one and a half hours of 47 running around wondering what broke.

The whole mission was weirdly glitched though, the counter was correct for me but the call outs were one behind. In the end I had to kill Davenport for the exit to be available, but since I'd killed five already he counted as a civilian kill. Sucks because that turned a silent assassin run into a 2 star run...
