This game was the biggest "fright" I ever had in my gaming life. Believe it or not. I was a big fan of Hitman 2 when it came out, When contracts was released i bought it and played it right away. I didn't saw any reviews or even read about it online... So I approached the game expecting the same "light fun" of Hitman 2. Man, my face when I opened the door to rescue the "poor kidnapped girl" in the Meat King's Party was... priceless. At first I didn't seemed to register it, but some moments later when Diana says "You know, bring a part of her..." and I had to go back to the room, then its where it hit me... lol

TIP OF THE DAY: If you guys don't know how to get the mini-gun on this stage I'll tell you how to do it: (I know this works on the PS2 version) You can't get it when you first start this mission you have to come back to it after you have completed all the missions up to the Wang Fou incident. In the mission "The Wang Fou Incident", you can go into Lee Hong's mansion behind the restaurant. You will not be given a map of the mansion in this mission so you will have to do it "blind". In Lee Hong's office, there is "Dr. Ort-meyer's ID card". Pick it up, finish this mission and SAVE. Go back to the Asylum Aftermath mission. You now have access to all the rooms in the asylum you didn't have before. Now you can get the mini-gun and see some Easter-eggs. The mini-gun makes Hunter and Hunted a lot more fun.

My favourite in the series as well. One interesting thing man people dn't realise about this level: in the room you enter after the guard says 'Go in to the left,' there's another inmate. He actually will blow your cover by pulling a gun on the guard. Lots of little treats like that in this game.

@naxo Also, cannically, this first mission does take place before silent assassin, then there is a bit of a cinch: the game takes place in the middle of Blood Money (after the opera house). A French police officer shoots 47 as he leaves the opera house and he escapes back to his hotel. In the hotel he begins to have flashbacks about missions he has completed, and several of them take place earlier in the series (several are remakes or reimaginings of levels from Hitman 1).

You need to add a custom resoulution with the Ini file, and if you want to change the settings set your res to 800x600 then close your game then reput the custom res.

something went really wrong on my first try, I dressed up as a male nurse (guy with the tazer when you get out of the elevator) and made sure to hide all weapons, SWAT still opened fire upon me as apparently I looked like I was going berserk (walking casually towards the exit with no hostility whatsoever) I like the series, but I'm getting really tired on how sensitive the game is on your wardrobe pick, one gives you near complete invisibility, while all other outfits might as well just have big target practice bulls eye's painted over them as enemy's will shoot without warning or logic whatsoever. (Why would SWAT shoot a nurse and not a docter? they just arrived there so they can't possibly know who works there. Unless somehow they all just simply hate nurses with all there heart)

I always just shoot up the first swat patrol I come across, steal the clothes and weapon of one of them, go outside, kill the swat guarding the exit and leave. Rating will be "slayer" and the result very, very messy but I find the mission to be such a chore I want to end it asap.

I got the game to play pn my PS2 But the Cutscenes Just freeze up n start again and makes it take forever to be able to skip em. And the audio glitches sometimes during gameplay n the Audio makes buzzing noises and the SWAT units make Squeak noises instead of actually talking. I had to quit cuz my memory card apparently wasn't in the slot and then it froze in the home menu, welp time to restart the console. Now if I push the joystick too far forward he instantly quits sneaking n runs, I think I messed my L2 up playing SVR 2009
