“Better” is obviously incredibly objective, and it does make a difference sitting inches from a 2k/4K screen instead of watching a KZbin compression, but I generally do love the evolution (even though I go back and forth in these comparisons between which one I think is best from shot to shot). Generally though, it’s amazing how small a change you need to make something suddenly feel a ton more immersive, and I’m incredibly impressed with the advances each game seems to have made. I just bought the third game on sale and did the whole import progress thing. I’m loving finishing up my hitman 2 play through in hitman 3, and can’t wait to start the proper hitman 3 levels. Such a fantastic trilogy

Man the lighting improvements are huge. I honestly think these days we've kinda leveled off in terms of model detail so now the generational improvements are much more in the lighting department. I mean look at Naughty Dog's PS4 output with Uncharted 4 and TLOU2. Regardless how you feel about those games they are some of the best-looking ever, even when compared to this year's biggest releases. Strong lighting is the easiest way you can get the feeling of a "generational" leap in the 2020s.

I was disappointed that 3 plays like 2 but it's still fantastic. I'm keeping Hitman 1 as a solo game for the better shooting, movement, and brightness but will play the others through 3. I'm still playing the new one but Paris is still my favorite level in the trilogy. That one will be hard to beat. Sapienza is 2nd, but I'm hoping the new game will topple it. Such an amazing franchise!

Overall hitman 3 has good upgrades but Sapienza lost all it's charm for me, in Hitman 1 it seemed light and bright as a coastal city in south europe should be but the lighting in Hitman 3 completely ruins the map and makes it look dark

Hitman 3 tiene su historia y niveles totalmente distintos, lo que pasa es que si tenes hitman 1 y 2, los podes jugar desde el menú de campañas de hitman 3 con las mejoras gráficas, es como un remaster de obsequio para quienes compren hitman 3 y ya posean las versiones anteriores.

Hitman has always been great for its time visually, regardless of generation. The majn massive improvement is the increased screen space reflections, which are also a good improvement over ray tracing because they are on previous gen too.

I'm so confused about this series. I never played a hitman game until Hitman 3, and I just finished it. Are the Hitman 1 levels noticeably lesser quality than Hitman 3? I'm just wondering if I will enjoy going back in the series that far (not sure if only the recent entry was given such a seemingly big budget given how polished it looks). Because when I search Google it says Hitman 1 released in 2006, but when I look up videos, the graphics don't look like a game from that long ago.

Hitman 1 came out in 2016, Hitman 2 in 2018 and now Hitman 3 in 2021. What you found is release date for old hitman 1 and not newest hitman series.

Hitman 1, 2 and 3 are a new rebooted series. If you like 3, you will also definitely like 1 and 2. Throughout the trilogy, the graphics and level design were slightly upgraded but in my opinion all 3 of them are very good

there is literally no difference in regards of hitman just standing still doing nothing, except some minor lighting/reflection changes that you willingly would not notice while playing and not comparing them on 3 different monitors at a time ( if you think otherwise, bravo, you are a fanatic..) But particle, breakage and explosion wise i actually think that hitman 1 looks the best.

@@staafgame mucha gente jajaja yo me incluyo me encantan los detalles pequeños en los graficos y fisicas xD pero si el 1 tiene una parte de la historia y unos mapas el 2 trae otra parte de la historia y otros mapas y el 3 trae la última parte y otros mapas nada mas que si tienes por ejemplo el 2 puedes pasar gratis los mapas del 1 al 2 y recibir las mejoras y los mismo si tienes el 1 y el 2 puedes pasar los mapas gratis al 3 y recibir las mejoras visuales y demas básicamente para que tengas todo en un mismo sitio

In the games you get to play the previous games levels, say if you had hitman 2 and hitman 1, you would be able to play hitman 1 levels in hitman 2.
