These are the ups and downs of my journey of awakening. For a while, it was riddled with both so much truth and so much sadness. My consistent yoga practice and strengthening of neuropathways to choose love in moments of fear really changed everything for me and finally anchored my beliefs.
The past few years have felt so much more still, stable, and discerning.
It's not that I don't have bad days now, its that I know how to cope with them and I know not to create from an energetic place of fear. I used to think of ending my life anytime I was overwhelmed in the slightest, I now know things do not need to escalate that far. I use those moments to show myself the most love. I revere and celebrate the tiny gifts life brings me every single day. I feel my spirits, guides, and ancestors watching over me, sending me omens and intuitions. The more still I become, the more I forget who I am, the more an entirely new world opens up to me, all my potential realities revealing themselves. Stillness brings me to the deepest level of expansion.
Wherever you are in your journey is beautiful, you are worthy in all moments.
Come back in 24 hours for affirmations ! hehe

Something I would have paid to know earlier: Time doesn't heal at all. Just waiting to heal from trauma is not going to get you anywhere. At least for me, you need to put in the work and attempt to heal. Everyone heals in different ways, everyone *is* different, but just waiting for your wounds to close and your scars go away is not going to happen if you just wait it out, even if it's years down the road. Be intentional with yourself, recognise and listen to what you are feeling. Don't shut off your feelings, embrace them. Feel everything that you need to, and use it towards your healing process. Like Hitomi said, you should be a safe space for yourself, make that happen :)
@anjalijha5014

I am sorry for the bad experiences that you've had. I wish you light but I feel like it's the mix of two. Time alone can't heal. Although on surface , you feel better but the trauma settles in and comes through time and again. Also, working on it alone isn't a solution. Working on the right time is. If something happens you can't immediately start working on it. You need time to observe, accept and with time when you get comfortable with understanding the situation that's when you start to work. So I think it's both! :)

As a man who has been following you for some time now I'd love to share what I've learned throughout my journey - My most important lesson being that the Western ideas of Masculinity and strength are rooted in deep insecurity (violence, lack of empathy, ignoring any and all feelings). What I've learned is actually quite the opposite, the strongest quality an individual can have is vulnerability (qualities attributed to the divine feminine). I hope as more men learn/are taught this we will be capable of building a better future and begin to undo some of the deep trauma caused by the patriarchy.

@fairylush888
@fairylush888 3 жыл бұрын
@@em-tc6zr I will give you my personal description, so when I am being intentional, doesn't matter what happens, ex: I get triggered, I choose to respond and do something that soothes me, but if I where in survival mode and I got triggered I would start coping in unhealthy ways,. Being in a intentional state it's a place where you acknowledge that you can heal and recover, receive and give, and you take actions that will help you ground yourself in some way. Survival mode or state, it's being in a place where you feel the need to always protect and defend yourself because you're caught up in trauma and fear of the future, in the video she mentioned something like that, and while you're in this survival mode you take actions that perhaps aren't the healthiest but you need to feel comfort and a sense of control. I hope this makes sense, I don't know tho, but I hope this helps as well!

A few things I would have paid to learn sooner: 1. Constantly surrender, let go of who you were only moments ago to be the person the present moment calls you to be, feel what is true now and let go of everything else 2. Be comfortable with letting go of control being in your power does not mean being 'in control' or 'having control' over your life, other people, your body etc. Flow with the river of life don't waste time trying to control the current. 3. Take your pleasure seriously, listen to your desires, feel the orgasmic yes

One lesson I have learned is that I can just observe the energies of others from afar without letting them be a part of mine. I try to acknowledge others' energy for what it is, what impact it has on my energy, what the intentions are and what it brings to my life and then let it go. Send it back off into the world. If it's an energy that benefits mine, I will keep it around and connect, but if it is negative energy or energy from a past wound, I will observe it from a far and learn from it, then I send it off, taking its lessons and sending that energy back off with new intentions, those that generate creation and love.

@@musicm1rage623 I have learned that accepting your emotions doesn't mean that you don't have reasons to be sad or angry anymore, they are human emotions, totally valid, they make us who we are, but it is important to learn that they cannot take control, we cannot let those negative emotions lead our lives. I have also learned that there are so many types of meditations and spiritual journeys, if something works for everyone but not for you, its okay, just try anything else. The one that took me so much time to learn, is that being positive doesn't mean that you have to stay happy al the time, that will mess up with your mental health, (I realized it the hard way) it means the despise having a sh*t day, that despise not having energy, it won't last forever. Maybe I can come up with more but those are the ones that I repeat to myself the most.

Anger, jealousy, envy and ect is normal but you’ll have to normalize release Crying does not make you weak, you shouldn’t expect yourself to always be strong My voice is important & what I have to say is important. I don’t need others approval or validation for what makes me happy. It’s okay to not meet everyone’s expectations of me. You don’t have to feel like you need to be spiritual everyday, we are spiritual beings regardless. Showing up as your authentic self always is important

that last one really hit home for me. i'm still pretty young (just turned 21) and i constantly look back to the past and see both times of extreme darkness and blinding light but these past few months i've felt so drained and depleted and tired and steeped in sadness, never wanting to do anything for myself even basic stuff like eat or move. i feel so far away from that lightness and fullness i felt before but i'm starting to understand that i cannot pour from an empty cup, that i need to reckon with my sadness and also not lie to myself or blame myself for not being happy in this moment, realizing that i'm capable of and worthy of happiness and i will get there is a good starting point on its own

I think self awareness is also a beautiful first step - just knowing what you have to do. Maybe right now you don't have the strength or energy to do it, and that's okay (as long as you're still eating and drinking water and what not). But if you need to rest for a while and sit with the sadness or darkness I think that's okay. Sometimes, it's just repressed energetic emotion, subconsciously even, that we've been avoiding for too long and it needs to be felt and released. When you're ready and feel capable of taking small steps towards feeling the lightness again, I'm sure you will. It's all a cycle, right? The light will find you again and you will begin to fill your cup again x I would recommend looking up the liberation circuit and manifestation circuit of the chakras. It might be able to help you call in that light and release the dark energetically when you are ready. Sending love your way x

I still cope with really heavy (energetic and emotional) feelings sometimes, these lessons really helped me: - you are the observer; the consciousness. Therefore you are none of your thoughts nor your body nor your personality. You are the force that just IS. So in that sense you're able to do and be anything what you want. (never believe your not creative for example, everyone is creative) - life is beautiful because of the struggle and because of it's fragility (!!!) - don't take yourself to seriously, laugh about the big deal you make of your situation; this tiny moment in your life. (; Love you!

Lately, I have been prioritizing everything else over self-care. You reminded me that you can not pour from an empty cup. Everyone's first priority is to be tender and loving to themselves. So well put; the way you show up for yourself is the way you show up for others. Continue to shine lights on all the layers to yourself, bring acceptance and awareness to the scary parts of yourself. Thank you, Hitomi for being such a grounding force, and a reminder to me of the universal forces that are waiting to share their love.

A pivotal lesson I learned is that you have to trust. When trusting spirit the most amazing manifestations happen and I have incredible moments. It might not be how the day was planned, and sometimes the time seems wasted until patience proves otherwise. The wheel of time is beautiful! Absolute trust makes that whole upgrade unfold nicely

firstly, i found this on my recommended section and immediately felt drawn to the vid.... after years of struggling and realising i cant go on like this forever...i am deciding to start my spiritual journey. Right now the question that ponders over me is who i am and whats my purpose? i feel like when people play a game and they see that they have one chance left- they give it their all, tighting their shoulder focusing so hard to reach the highest peak....... dont we all have just one life? why not make it the best. it would be a road less travelled but a worthy one. lastly ofc Thank you!! eager to start this journey and devote myself

One of the biggest life changing realizations I’ve had is the fact that people will most often not know that they’ve hurt you unless you tell them! I had always thought that the little, subtle comments were not important enough to bring up so I went for years carrying them. No matter how small a hurt, if you don’t express it, it will build up and hurt you even more and will create resentment for the person who hurt you! What I finally came to understand was my key part in that hurting of myself. I could not entirely blame the people for hurting me anymore because I had not told them so how would they know? Most people go through their lives without expressing these subtle hurts which only hurts themselves AND those who hurt them even more. How can those people grow and apologize if they don’t know they hurt you? It is our responsibility to tell people that they hurt us just as much as it is their responsibility to take accountability and apologize. Another realization that came alongside this one was that the subtle hurts born from offhand comments are often far more impactful/ important to pay attention to than the blatant ones. If someone says to you “your music taste is awful how could you listen to this?” It is an obvious hurt and easier to point out and heal from right away. The subtle nuance of conversation, however, often lends itself to smaller commentaries that feel less worthy of confrontation. These are even more important than blatant hurts because they are so hard to pick out (you may go years without coming to terms with a way someone close to you is subtly hurting you) and harder to acknowledge. It is all the more important to bring up the way small comments hurt you in the moment, however awkward (if it is a safe space to do so).

One day my best friend started yelling at me for nothing and I told her that she always does this to me. She said, if you'd have told me about this earlier I might have been able to work on them. I've not talked to her since but I realised that we should not hide what hurts us for anythings sake. If it hurts you, it hurts you.

This is what I've been dealing with recently...replaying comments friends have said to me that really hurt. It is really hard to just randomly bring up..especially since I'm not necessarily close with them on a one-to-one basis, and it's because we're in a friend group together. It hurts because it makes me angry that somehow it feels like there's something about myself that makes it easy for people to mistreat/disrespect me and say rude things when they would probably not have said that to another friend. It makes it feel super personal. Idk what I'm going to do about it, if I am going to do anything, but it's really been making me avoid everyone more

Thank you for sharing your spiritual epiphanies! Here are some of mine: 1. It takes time, and there are no two identical paths. Do not compare your own spiritual growth to someone else’s, where it leads you or how long it takes you to get there. 2. This one’s a bit harder to explain: There is no good or bad, everything just is. Good and bad (or any other words that represent them) are our own view or bias towards neutral things. In other words, we, with our values, life experiences and ambitions, put the attributes of “good” or “bad” on things, so “good” and “bad”, in a way, stems from our own ego. For example, in 2016, my mother had boarded a plane to meet me in another country when I was studying abroad in Europe, and her plane was 2h late to takeoff, which meant she would miss her connection. This on itself could be seen as “bad”. But as it turns out, if her plane would have been on time, she would have been exactly where the bomb attacks happened in Brussels Airport. Her plane being late turned out to be a good thing! We often put the attributes of “good” and “bad” before we can know the rest of the story, and if we dwell or let “bad” things affect us negatively, we are actually self-sabotaging our own inner peace. Everything has good AND bad, it’s all about perspectives. 3. As we are part of a greater whole, we aren’t meant to only do things that will benefit us. This means, when you do things and they don’t necessarily seem to have had an impact on your life and might seem pointless to you, maybe you were unknowingly helping someone else in their journey. Our small actions all have butterfly effects on other people’s lives, and sometimes, our “pointless” actions actually have a purpose, just not in our lives or not that we can see. It’s not because we can’t see them that it isn’t impactful or helpful to someone else. I hope this helps someone and that this was legible enough, english isn’t my first language

I love how much grace you’ve given yourself. I find that when we pressure ourselves to experience spirituality in a “perfect” way, we end up creating more resistance than we had when we were lost and first embarked on our journeys. It’s so important to recognize that your journey is your journey, through all the ebbs and flows and imperfections, it’s perfectly yours. So embrace that and keep shining 🙏🏾❤️

the part of feeling fearful around family while seeing other people being haply with theirs I resonate with. The fear of my family has kept me in fear ever since I could remember. Every time Hitomi uploads my heart is instantly full of love, it's absolutely magical 🥰 I always acknowledged in the back of my mind that "everyone's perception is valid", however it truly takes time and patience to come to terms with that. One thing I noticed when I was well into my spiritual journey, I would display tendencies of "spiritual ego" where I thought my awareness and my perception of this reality was superior to those who perceived the world differently (materialistic, narrow minded, unaware etc.). I think I still do and I hope over time I can heal this need to project my views onto others, however subtle my projecting may be. Amazing content as always! Sending you and everyone else who's watching this video so much love and blessings. ✨

I think you have to start to rebuild your environment one little piece at a time. It might start with a home that feels like your own and that feels safe for you, then attracting healthier relationships by working on healthy habits (nourishing your body, moving freely, positive self talk etc.) and then setting boundaries to keep yourself happy and safe while having your family still in your life. And like I said, always having that safe home for yourself and those healthy happy thriving relationships to return to after a heavier time with your family is crucial. sending love x

Some things I've learned along the way are: - I'm not responsible for how other people feel. - I don't have to take care of everyone all the time - I have a right to have my voice heard - Self love is not selfish - I am worthy of happiness and I am worthy of life Definitely going to come back to this video again. My favorite thing about this video is how the whole time I just felt such a good positive vibe throughout the whole thing. I was really happy about the part when u talked about the whole plant medicine thing because I know I’ve been trying to reach that same state without weed or shrooms but I’ve realized that if I need weed or shrooms to do my journey I won’t be mad because hearing u talk about not having that calling made me very happy. Just hearing that it’s possible to reach such amazing spiritual bliss without it, makes me happy and I don’t know why but it does :) This video also is just another message for me that i know I want to help other people and make them happy but to do that I must help myself first.
