@@mkzuki3691 Deron talked openly about it and said that Booth sales takes such a small cut compared to the rest, voice packs money goes directly to the Liver as they themselves are given the liberty to make them, they make their own scripts and all for those voice packs, for merch, of course Ichikara takes a cut too due to licensing and distribution fees and taxes, but they support a lot in terms of money for the livers, cases like Shachou not opening his SC often is cause, first he is a really kind person and when he opens it, we all know how it can go for hours of him reading SC and names due to the massive influx of SC people give him

@@mkzuki3691 Booth takes a 3% cut +50 cents flat cut from sales, then an undisclosed % amount goes to Nijsanji. But Booth has a system called "Boost", you can add any amount of money on top of your purchase, like you buy something that's $3 and Boost it for $5, the Boost amount goes 100% to the streamer. The Nijsanji Official Sales site they opened relatively recently is better, Nijisanji takes a cut from sales, and it has "Yell" that's the same as Boost and also goes 100% to the streamer. So basically buying cheap stuff like Voice Packs and Boosting them/ Yelling it is the best way to give them money.

@@nuran5537 voice pack is basically like where vtubers say things especially in events. Christmas, New Years, Valentines, White Day, so on. Usually it's time limited and you can only buy during that time and usually one of the ways vtubers can earn more (since KZbin has SC tax or something).

I'm surprised I found a Vtuber that doesn't turn on superchat. And i'm actually sub to Mayuyu and I didn't know. Then again no one really knows his home life. He could work another job so he doesn't need the etc money. His streams are usually very chill and game focus. Idk if he replies to chat because I can't read kanji. But i can see how annoying it would be to have to stop say thank you. And then scroll to see normal chat. Also i bet his Voice pack is a bop. He is the only one with just a deadpan voice. Like he has the prefect dead eye serious character. And the voice fits~

I think he's also somewhat work as part time in Ichikara and handle some events like Nijimeguri. He said in his minecraft stream that he sometimes go drink with Ichikara's staff. I'm sure he won't turn on the superchat unless for fun (money collecting stream, which I think the money goes to horse race stream) or celebration stream. When right before his 3D stream, he said he wanted to turn off the superchat and consult it with his manager. Pretty sure it got turned down. He actually reads his chat even when in game.

There is more people on Nijisanji that don't turn on superchat, Suzuhara Lulu, Tsukino Mito, Kagami Hayato... this may be one of the reasons why you don't see Nijisanji on top superchat earnings a lot, the biggest streamers rarely turn on superchat lol

@@monalisa6379 In the end KZbin takes a pretty big cut. Most people who don't have them on earn a lot from outside deals, merchandise and voice packs, so as Mayuyu said, they don't really need them. In the end superchat rankings can just be seen as a prestige thing which a lot of livers just choose not to take part in, especially when fans start to focus on said rankings too much

Superchat is actually both risky and less profitable. Watchtime(or ads) though, earns more than people think. Depends on your audience though. I was surprised that views from SEAasia countries counted as 1$ per 2k views while NA views counted as 4$ per 2k view.
