I just picked up my 21 PX and I have a SCOM on my 18 PX. I just want to remove the speed limiter, but RIVA has had dependability issues with their SCOMs. Some have been DOA and some go out after a few months. They only come with a 30 day warranty. My first one for my 18 failed, but Green Hulk helped me get it replaced. I may buy another SCOM for my 21. If I do, it certainly will come from Jerry at Green Hulk.

My buddy put a scom on his 21 PX saw 4-5mph on good day, ended up having JL performance in Miami tune the ECU and ran 77-78mph every day.

I just installed a SCOM on my 21 PX. 85 degree air, 210 pound rider, full fuel, it ran sustained 75 on the dash. It would touch 76 for very short durations. It actually was on the rev limiter just a bit and the ecm would slow it a touch. So, I picked up 6 mph on the 21. My 18 PX, old hull runs 74 with a SCOM. All speeds are dash.

So how does the Yamaha handle compared to the Doo around a buoy course. I know I like my 2015 RXPX 260's cornering feel and the way it digs and can even dive around a corner but the darting and hunting in chop does get annoying if a guy just wants to cruise. I am either ordering a 2022 RXPX or GP SVHO. I am torn between the two, there is not one single Yamaha located near me that I could try. We just do not have as many high performance muscle craft around me here in Canada. There are definitely features of both I really like, being 6'4.5" I find the older ergo lock seat to tight to lock in but it is comfortable.

The Yamaha handles extremely well. You will have to work harder to corner because the seat design does not allow you to "lock in" like the Sea-Doo does. If you can hold on to the Yamaha, it will corner just as well.

The 2018 and up RXT and RXP’s have superior hulls and ergonomics. The 2021 RXP is the best machine out there. They shaved a bunch of weight and improved the hull.

So I’m confused with my Jetski I have a 2017 RXP 300x top speed is at 75 and a lot of people are telling me that I should be going a lot faster with everything I have Install the only thing I have not done is any tuning at all. Also, after adding the speed delete from Riva I didn’t see any difference either it felt like it didn't even work, because when I turned it off and turned it back on, it still did not start back up in sport mode. Like people claim and the ski I purchase off of someone already had most of the mods on here the JetSki runs perfectly fine. Oil level is perfectly right in the middle. Yesterday I checked inside the intercooler there was no oil in there. It was perfectly dry. I replace a supercharger impeller, so I’m just lost for words maybe tuning might get it where it needs to be any advice or opinion to help me out here Installed Riva air intake, Riva ribbon delete, Riva I/C hoses with tial BOV, riva rear exhaust and riva speed delete ,Fizzle Z135 Supercharger Impeller, Solas Impeller SXX-CD-13/18 .

So you have upgraded the supercharger impeller without installing the required 100lb fuel injectors and MaptunerX stage 3 ecu tuning for them? You can’t do this! I hope you haven’t already damaged your engine. The speed control module won’t affect warranty at all. It’s a simple plug and play device. Regarding “voiding warranty” They cannot “void” your entire skis warranty for doing a mod to your ski. They can “deny coverage” on a failed item if the modification is proven to have caused the failure, but your entire skis warranty is not VOID!! For example, let’s say you reflash your ecu with a performance tune. If your steering breaks, instrument cluster goes bad, a sensor goes bad, etc, then the reflash could not have caused one of those items to fail so they cannot deny coverage. Now, if you have some sort of engine failure then they could absolutely deny coverage on the motor repair. Point i’m trying to make, is your entire skis warranty is not VOID if you mod your ski. Research Magnusson Moss Warranty Act. It protects us consumers when modding our skis 👍

most people are seeing at least 6 over stock. If you are 250 not 165 like the tester you will see less.

You must be confusing this with the older hull. There is an easy 7-8 mph gain on the 2021 RXP-X with the speed limiter removed.

My 130lb Son can hit 80mph with my RXT-X and the SCOM. My 210lb ass can only get it to 76mph. The thing works. But, if you're 300+ pounds, you're correct, you'll only get 3mph.

Then there is likely an issue with your SCOM. Have you contacted Riva support? There are literally thousands of these out there and they most certainly work. Definitely not a scam!
