I had a 17 hand Arabian horse named desert storm, dude would bite me all the time, and kick me. Yet when I would get on him, even bareback I didn't need to do anything, he just knew where I wanted to go and how fast. He was never kept in a pen, we would just let him out and he stayed on our 10 acre property. One day we both fell about 5 feet into a ditch, because of the soft dirt around it, and he got up and grabbed me by my belt and helped me stand up.. Quit riding after he died of stomach cancer.. Miss that horse.

If you like this stuff specifically, this guy makes some interesting stuff you might like: kzbin.info/door/MjlDOf0UO9wSijFqPE9wBw He is kinda the Medieval Brian Brushwood, he tries peasant food, learns about how knights lived and what it was actually like. He has a fun personality and a good sense of humor and makes a cool subject _actually cool!_ So often Medieval stuff can be stuffy and boring... but he does a great job. Just check out the video on training battle horses! I had no idea just a dead body dummy just laying there would spook a horse and make them panic! Horses are so dumb! Lol they have to learn to just step on corpses, get used to clanging and bashing noises, and other crazy stuff. It's very interesting. Anyway, He's a small channel and deserves some attention. I hope you like his stuff, it's unlike anything on KZbin I've seen!

Not that I would have any better of a chance to place that shot than you guys, this is all a different monster, but it's so interesting to see traces and hints of that thought process in action. This and the previous video with the "Hun" are two quality and detailed videos about a very interesting subject.

I really love this show! I watched the extended cut (link in the description) and strongly advise everyone to watch it if you have the time! :)

This is SUCH a movie cliche and I *love* it. The protag is like "We're wasting time I need to ride a horse now!" and the mentor says "You want a horse? Here's your horse." and gives them a broom. Then there's a montage of the protag being frustrated by what seems like nonsense lessons. It's Mr Miyagi shit. I love it so much.
