Hive Content HASN'T CHANGED - Is that a Bad Thing?

I like HIVE content it might be the same sometimes, but the creators are trying to change it up a bit the HIVE is the most popular bedrock server even tho they don't have that many players and I think the repeating content is one of the reasons why (in my opinion) I think people have started getting bored of the content and left the community as a result. But on the positive side. Like I said the HIVE youtubers are making more original content and the HIVE is getting involved with the community way more than they used to and we are getting new HIVE youtubers as well. And I still love the HIVE and I will probably never stop spending money on it 🙂 also, good to see you still making vids (I spent way to long typing this)

If I'm being honest hive content is getting repetitive and recently most people r just using hive the make Minecraft bedrock content like when we look at those videos of who is the best *blank* player and they just use the hive to test the stuff on that but we can see evident is more so focusing his content on Minecraft bedrock in general rather than a server we can see its the same as potato that it's based of the hive but focuses more on Minecraft bedrock, which leads me to belive that hive content is kinda dry and instead of them being hive yts I think of them as a Minecraft bedrock yt. BUT THIS IS JUST MY OPINION IN THIS.

Ok let me say this. One of the big reasons I enjoy your channel is your commentary videos. Doesn't matter to me how long you've been doing it, doesn't matter how repetitive it is... I just enjoy watching a -man- owl talking about whatever he wants while destroying people. Like, I don't care how DIFFERENT content has to be... actually sometimes I'm disappointed when content changes. Sometimes a certain type of video is why I watch a channel, and if it changes, it's just not the same.

The thing about hive content is that it's generally not bad. The problem is that because bedrock Minecraft is oversaturated with hive content and because nobody branches out into other areas of Minecraft, the content gets stale and people end up not watching because unless there's a gimmick hive videos are copy and paste, meaning if you see one you've pretty much seen em all. Even technoblade king of Skywars stoped doing Skywars videos and branched out into other areas of the game. Another thing is that hive content isn't evolving, you may have a couple people do something new or different but the majority are just kill montages or kill commentarys.

And with that realization, your contentment is shattered and reduced to a longing for something more" I suppose when life gets busier and you have less time to divide among tasks, if something is all the same it can be less interesting. But sometimes repetition is nice, because you know what to expect. So in a way it could be a form of comfort. It all depends on interests and situations. Its fascinating. But I realize this is more the psychological aspect of the viewer than hive content being stale. Which I haven't watched too much recently because my interests have expanded and the few people I would watch don't post much anymore. And videos do seem kinda the same, which is probably why I only watch a few. And also probably why I got bored lol

People have found a formula and are using it to make it work, it's the mrbeast effect, the issue is not the style itself just the amount of people doing it, it will change soon but just the next idea or concept to occur for more variety

It’s not entirely creators fault for it since the content gets stale since there’s not enough updates to cover it. But 70% of the content I see especially from bigger creators is almost an identical style and all of that, mainly cuz the style they do works. Another problem is that barely anyone even tries to show some originality in the content they make, me myself included. Main problem about this is because there’s only few ways to make content the viewers would watch in the hive content creation space, it leaves out a variety of personalities, and for people who do these types of content they eventually quit because it isn’t the type of content they like to do, and instead it’s the content the viewers want to see, I think a part of hive KZbin has to be making content you like as well.

I want to give my insight on this topic as I'm a quite prominent content creator as of right now: The statement "Hive Content HASN'T CHANGED" in itself isn't true. However, most content on the Hive are very similar and repetitive to each other. It really just depends on the viewer and the content creator. On one hand, you can say yes, Hive content has become quite "repetitive", "unoriginal" and "stale" nowadays. Because of the Hive updating less frequently and other factors, there are just limits to the amount of creativity people can put in their video's on the Hive. That's why most videos nowadays will be on "who is the BEST controller player" or "what is the BEST bridging method", because they are topics that aren't reliant on the Hive itself updating. You also have to understand a lot of Hive Creators nowadays especially are quite young, me included. They just won't have the experience, and some may just do "what's working" instead of trying to find something unique that they are able to profit off of, which makes Hive content quite repetitive. However there are other viewers that enjoy how many of those videos there are, and there are those who can enjoy the personality inside of the video's, instead of the concept of it in itself. At the end of the day, the reason people are complaining about the content being stale is because they want to see the content creator make the best content that they can. Once the Hive starts to update again, and as creators mature more, content will slowly become better as time goes on.

Not enough for it to make a difference. If a couple creators are slightly different, that doesn't speak for Hive content as a whole. You just named 2 very good Minecraft Bedrock content creators. General Hive content has been almost exactly the same since I took off last year, and that is a fact. The rest of my thoughts are in the video 👍

@@JburrowPlays I gave Danny and Evident as an example since I know that you are familiar with their content, not because they are the only people who have made a transition in their content. Stride lul used to do 1-2 min informative videos, now he does non hive based content which is 8+ minutes long Diecies has changed up his editing style completely, going for a more "hyper edited" style of video Corruptnnn went from making boxing shorts content to making 8ish minute videos on who the best player is Wrongway98 went from making montages to making challenge / mobile based content NotKings went from news videos, to transitioning to his 2nd channel and making content sometimes not involving the hive Jukaido went from posting boxing shorts to montages and scrim highlights Liltubbubble went from making commentaries to videos revolving the bridge That's just to name a few. I get that general hive content hasn't changed "much", however the content that you need to make to do well on the Hive scene has changed, and the content a viewer will see the most are the things that do well.
