How did you get your phone to find the thermostat when adding the thermostat device? I have the hive hub and the app connected. Note that my hub and my boiler receiver are quite far apart.

Has anyone been able to connect it to an iPhone. We've just moved in and the house has Hive but despite getting a new unit as requested by Hive it will not connect to the iPhone.

I was at my friends and I pressed some buttons and the reset button and it went off and I cant get it back on

Keith Watson take batteries out of thermostat then hold + and - buttons in.....with buttons pressed reinsert batteries wait about 10 secs rejoin should change to FIND with a timer. All done

Just moved in. Can I use previous owners hub ? Hive said no but surely I can just wipe previous owners info and reset.

You cant do this. You have to buy a new Hive Hub because the previous owner is supposed to take that with them

All very well some for some,, but I don't have a router, or a telephone line!! I use my android phone as a hub for my internet!!
