Coincidentally just bought King of Tokyo today, and lo and behold a party game by the same designer! I think the beauty of this being like a "Reverse Scattergories" is that the rounds feel much quicker in terms of making a list of four or five things as opposed to 10-12, and going down the list of words with very little debate if certain nouns or even adjectives (e.g. kicking kangaroos) count as points. Definitely agree with making house rules. In particular, the barriers which I would suggest having just one below the 6th level, behaving like a "last chance" for the player that would have gone out and end the game losing. Also, at endgame, I would award just the player(s) at the highest on the hive the wins, like in Hearts. Otherwise, I will keep a lookout for Hive Mind! Thanks for the review!
