Very informative stuff. Glad to have found your channel. I am currently mapping in Asia :). Have you guys done an episode on a blue sky scenario for Hivemapper and the value of Honey tokens ? of course this would be speculation. Just looking at how Helium performed it was crazy last cycle. It would be nice to get your perspective and insights and assumptions for a blue sky scenario ? thank you in advance :)

Thanks! I guess we allude to that in this episode a bit, but we can consider doing a whole episode on this. Who doesn’t enjoy a good old fashioned bit of hopium 😅….glad you’re enjoying the content!

I recon that contributors should be able to use the maps with a limited time of 5 mins so we can see what we mapped and what it looks like, because we are contributing we can see the places we done and look to improve them and so forth , taking pride in our work , keeps all parties intrested and makes a case to brag to others about it ?? also when payments come out if they can come out with the nicknames versus just Map coverage ( fleet)

Hello, can this be used for people that ride Bicycles? And is this for roads only or also for trails, bike paths and "off road" locations?

Wow. I just came across this Hivemapping thing. I can Buy Latest Device, But i see in explorer entire NYC is mapped, il isbit still worth it buying & running this Dashcam in NYC Area. I drive a lot: Uber? 2. Can i use 2 Dashcams In one car? One Dashcam for Front & 2nd one for Side ......??? To double the coin accumulation?

2 dashcams / car max - one front one side. Hop on Hivemapper Discord channel for more info. Is it worth it? Up to you to decide. Do some research into how the rewards work & why freshness of the map is Key (and hence, not so important that NYC is already mapped). Once you understand the mechanics of the project (read the documentation), have a look at how much a dashcam costs & assess for yourself if it is worth the investment.

Sure, go to hivemapper.com/explorer/contributors/your-username-here Replace your-username-here with your username from the hivemapper app (keep the - in there between words, and make sure it's all lowercase). All info is there!
