Update: Richard makes a faux pas in the first section of the video and clearly some wires got crossed between Toronto and the UK. To clarify: the prototype in this demo is built with silicon transistors, as will the production models. The conversation surrounding germanium was that we would have liked to used them, but we were unable to get the parts in time. We have arranged for the demonstrator to be detained for severe re-education!

I have a Diaz Texas Square Face with germs, it's amazing. I wanted another fuzz pedal with silicon transistors but this sounds too something, kind of like a Zvex Fuzz Factory that is too much. Not sure...

Make a mini version smaller the better if you add the colorsound powerbooster before the fuzz make a third switch would give you those gilmour tones

Bit of a mistake in the video by our demonstrator. There was a long conversation in the planning stages of this pedal where we discussed using germanium, but unfortunately couldn't get them in the quantities needed in the timescale we had, so the pedal in the video is in fact silicon transistors. Richard has been uninvited to the Christmas party as a result of his error 😂

That sounds awful. It sounds like fart sounds that you can make with you mouth. Go check out Haze 67 fuzz pedal if you want to hear what a fuzz pedal should sound like. This is OMG a dreadful demo.

I agree the sound on this video is not the greatest, and also agree that Haze 67 is a great pedal, however I hate the scarcity marketing technique they use on an already ridiculously overpriced pedal they make. The last one I saw went for 3 thousand euros, thats more than buying a real 1966 fuzzface. Totally ridiculous. I dont take that company seriously. Analog man is way better company with a fantastic product at a resonable price and no marketing gimmicks

I agree with you totally on the price of the Haze 67 fuzz . Just wish someone could that pedal tone at a affordable price. The Haze is great but the mark up on it is to the roof. Parts wise it is only about a $200 install in it. So great amps don’t cost that much.

Boss FZ-2 Hyper Fuzz is amazing to me! They were discontinued in 2000. But they are going for about $250-$350 on average on eBay, Reverb… Check out demos on that one and the new FZ-1 Waza Fuzz. Pretty cool. But those are in my good taste and not necessarily every or anybody’s interest. But hey? I just like the crazy speaker blowing powerful sound on the Fuzz II setting and the versatility of dialing back to get a more tasteful and decent voice besides. This new pedal from Hiwatt I actually think sounds pretty good and heavy. It has much potential. I wouldn’t knock it. However, fuzz can be either really good or really bad. It can be divine or disastrous. What can be done with it is all up to the player and/or the sound engineer. Please excuse the rambling? But I hope that this helps.

I never bought a fuzz pedal I thought this sounded good. Is there a way to cancel? I kinda want something that sounds like crap my tone is too pretty lol. Something that sounds like farts and a broken garbage disposal. I figure what the hell better for variety I barely use gain anymore just boost. I was like cool sounds nasty lol. I thought maybe the limited numbers would help stub resale value ?
