anyone looking for more info on this amp: the clean channel is incredible. like better than any amp ive owned under 1k. The octapulse speakers are actually pretty great. I'm considering swapping for a Fane, but its not imperative for me. the overdrive channel isnt my favorite, but im not one to use an overdrive channel tbh. I like pedals to do that. I've been able to get gilmourish tone and townshend too. it's a great amp. not handwired but still fantastic!

Are you playing in a band? How loud can and clean channel get before it starts to break up?

Not in a band yet but even at 20 watts its insanely loud

I just picked one up and it sounds fantastic. I will say that the reverb is the weak spot and to me doesn't sound good at all. But I have plenty of reverb pedals around. The clean tones and edge of break up tones are to die for. The 10 watt setting sounds ok but is a bit thin compared to the 20watt setting. The 20 watt setting definitely sounds the best and is nice and full sounding. I use an attenuator to get the volume and tone perfect for my home. It also takes pedals really well. I would highly recommend the amp if you like cleans and edge of breakup tones and maybe have some pedals like Klon style, tubescreamers, treble boost, clean boost, fuzz and reverb. That's some pedals I've tried that go good with it. But mostly I use the natural breakup with the amp cranked through an attenuator and I'll hit the clean boost for a little more grit from the tubes. The older I get the less pedals I like to use. Rock On!!!

​@@underhated3317 ​@underhated that's crazy! I use mine all the time and it gets a fantastic snarl even with my single coil guitars. I do dime it and run it through a Weber Mass attenuator. Of course humbuckers make it really scream. But even without the attenuator mine snarls when dimed. But this thing will peel the paint off your walls without an attenuator if you crank it. I actually use the clean channel Dimed and get my natural tube breakup on the clean channel. You can get more on the dirty channel of course but it's not as lush. I don't know why yours would not get a good breakup like mine if you have it Dimed. Try an attenuator if you can you can get them for $60 bucks to thousands depending on what works for your budget. I love this amp so much I recently stepped up to the Hiwatt Custom 100. I jump the channels on it and use an attenuator and it sounds even better and is my favorite amp currently. I have been very lucky and have amassed a pretty big amp collection so my favorite amp changes week to week lol. But, I've been bit hard by the Hiwatt Bug.
