I hate how all her siblings still blame her a little bit for the apocalypse I know in S2 we see them all realize why she did & what caused her to do it but all of them still have a part of them that blame her & it's heartbreaking

Honestly I felt like they took responsibility for their part starting by taking her with them and then throughout season 2. By the end of the 2nd season they acknowledge their failures about it and have a stronger family bond. I think everyone was sorry about the past and what happened. They didn't even blame her for losing control at the FBI office

I don't see them blaming her at all, yeah, they say it was her and are aware that she can still go out of control, but only that. I mean, if they really blamed her at all, they wouldn't be speaking to her, and even less help her like they did I mean, her sister lost her child in a future she cant go back to, if she were to blame her...

Allison indirectly caused her to shoot at the moon with the gunshot , I feel so sorry for Vanya she's been through way more than the rest of the siblings and they still blame her , I feel so so so sorry for her Btw this is incredible the editing is extraordinary I love this so much

She doesn't mean it. She just doesn't want to head shoot Vanya. Maybe she knew Vanya power comes from sound and vibration, so she use the gun to shock Vanya. Instead, Vanya channel and focus all her power to the moon.

ben and vanya, my favourite characters. vanya was my favourite in season 1 too. she was suffering so badly from the trauma of her childhood - being told she was nothing so many times she started to believe it, when in reality she was the most special all along. she's not a bad person, she never meant to hurt anyone. the apocalypse wasn't her fault. it was her father's fault and her siblings, to an extent. ben was the only one who told her it wasn't her fault. he was kind to her. vanya deserves better!

"Who I am is not a disease" is one of those moments where Vanya demonstrates *way* more restraint than not just most of her siblings, but most of us in general. Like..."Call it what you want, but it ain't natural" is something a lot of people would respond to by punching that asshole in the face. Vanya's equivalent to that, something that responds directly to her emotional state, is hitting you hard enough to destroy a city block. If I had that sort of godlike power there's no way that conversation wouldn't have led to a murder.

Same here! I hate it when people hate on Vanya. While she's done some things in S1 that I didn't like (like slitting Allison's throat while trying to defend Leonard, who she shouldn't have been defending in the first place), I can still see that she didn't really mean to harm anyone or destroy the world. She's not a villain, just someone who's been lied to for basically her whole life and was just in anger that she never truly learned to control as a child because of her bad childhood. Basically, I'm kinda saying what Ben said to her in S2.

i feel like allison was such shitty sister bc she grew up never knowing what vanya felt or thought because she was seen as special the only girl in the family that got favorited and was never judged or discriminated i understand what vanya went through, i would feel the same allison degrading vanya for her "mistakes" is just unfair she never had the same treatment and adulting as allison

I just realized something: Three things happened when Ben disintegrated. (1) Vanya killed the only sibling who didn’t ever hate her. (2) The pain her siblings felt in his passing was her fault this time. (3) When Ben passed, his ties to the Hargreeves siblings were severed. He appeared again as a stranger. So, even if they took that Ben back in time to bring him back, they couldn’t. This change was permanent. If Vanya is “the bomb”, I wonder if this next season, instead of exploding and destroying others, she’ll start trying to destroy herself as a way of mourning. How far could her family push her until it’s too late? Vanya is a beautifully tragic character, and her powers show serious psychological trauma behind everything she does. I’m curious to see if they would really save her when she needed them. Or maybe I’m just reading into this too much. Either way, I look forward to season 3!

This is amazing! (3:06 - 3:10 is brilliant) Edit: Why's everyone hating on Allison? She's such a great character (especially in s2). She wasn't always the best sister but let's face it, she wasn't really raised to be one. Out of all the siblings (except maybe Klaus) she's the one who's closest with Vanya and I'm really looking forward to more Allison/Vanya/Klaus scenes.

So Vanya was bullied by her family because she had no power. She always wanted to be special but her father always remind her that she is ordinary. She was even excluded from family picture. When Diego speak, no one even listen to her or give her a chance to decide a side. But later found out that she had a great power, Luther lock her up. Then when she destroy the house everybody blames her. I feel bad about her.

They didn’t really bully him but they did exclude him from things growing up because the dad never wanted the other kids to know about his power otherwise it could have ruined things. But as they grew older they do try to understand Viks perspective but they also are hurt as he made a book that damaged their reputation in the public eye.

@@ethansolorzano5989 Oh, when I said bullying, I meant the scene in season 1 episode 10, where Vanya is recalling her past while destroying and wandering around the house. They kinda excluded her because they thought she don't have any power, but it also seems they were harsh on her. I think it is because they pitied her while look down on her. Not only that, but also in the whole season 1, they somehow exclude her because of her book, the mission they were planning, and kept telling her that she wouldn't understand. Of course, this is just my personal opinion! Just consider this as an explanation why I use the word bullying and my perception of the characters.
