That Blaster is sick as hell, I have a 06Se Blaster as well, vitos 72mm forged, ported and rechambered head, 35pwk 155 psi compression and I havent done 1 heat cycle yet so likely 160, The old trinity bbk is awesome I wish I could find one, and that pipe on your Blaster is the sickest Blaster I have heard, hands down

I know this video has been out for a while but I kind of just found it not too long ago but I keep watching it, I just rebuilt my son's Blaster it's an 04 I know a lot of people don't like the veto kits but some do, I went with a Vito 240 Big Bore and the 3 mil Stroker crank. Currently I have a FMF Gold Series fatty pipe on the bike now, but Vito's performance recommends their fat bastard pipe! I wanted a bigger carburetor but Vito's said I can use the stock 28 mm carb with their jet kit and the quad would be okay, but they did recommend their fat bastard pipe designed for the 243 mil Stroker and recommended I go up to at least a 33ml carb but didn't recommend me going to a 38 or bigger, they said that's more for like drag racing?! I can attest to one thing though, the machine is so much different, meaning better as far as get-up-and-go and the sound, but as far as what I can attest you is that after second, getting into third gear and more trying to open the machine up, well it just falls on its face and bogs out like it ran out of fuel! Which tells me the quad is starving for fuel, like I need a bigger carb! Do you have any recommendations based on the info I stated here to help me out bro? And I only have about four hours maybe on the machines since rebuilt. By the way haven't beat on it, followed breaking procedures, went gentle, got on it here and there briefly, let it cool down, when added again, of course I can go on about how I did to Breaking but it's too much to text but I've been following it to the t is far as everything I read up on, and Vito's and some performance shops, as far as their advice goes, monitoring the spark plug, doing a few plug shops Etc

Get the big carb on it. And most importantly get it ported to run hard. I had lots of fun on that little quad. Make sure the tank vent is opened up so the gas will flow.

I have a Blaster 06Se with a vitos bbk, ported by macdaddy racing, rechambered head so no spacer plate, forged wiseco piston, I was running a genuine 35pwk with a toomey pipe, it has a 6 slide, cel needle, 52 PJ, 165 MJ with a cfm airbox, it pulled pretty good but the toomey and fmf Blaster pipes dont like the bigger carburetors and they run like shit, for the first time since I built the motor I put the stock carb back on and it rips so hard it feels like its pulling your arms off, I was stunned at how good it runs with a 35pj 380mj stock needle 4th clip with one shim underneath.I done half and full throttle plug chops and its good, I have a dynoport high volume pipe on the way and I will go back to the pwk then but get hjr to port it and get a dynoport or ct racing right bend pipe and run the stock carb with the fmf

I still run the old drum brakes. I'm going to put banshee a-arms, spindles and brakes on her next. I have some and didn't even think about that thanks for the idea. I'm sure I'll need to cut and weld a few mounts for the a-arms.

Damn! Say what u will bout the good ole Lil blaster but I've had more fun on mine then any other quad I've owed. I'm 5'8" 195lb and have a 04 blaster with a Vitos complete 240 fat bastard top end...with a Keihin 34mil carb and K&N intake and filter..boyesen reeds. Yada yada yada a nice kit. I've done normal trail riding in my area. Tru the woods and a stone quarry near where I grew up as well as many friends and family who have farms or own mountain areas for hunting or wat have ya. I've also done some of the Hatfield and McCoys trails in deep WV. All the while cutting the blaster no slack....Im a mechanic by trade so I've always taking care of my machines. But racing against my bro inlaws Honda 450r and friends who have all owned anything from 400ex's to warriors that have been mild built, yfz 450's and countless others lol. What I'm getting at is if your 6' tall or under and not 200lbs or at the very least not way over 200lbs. Blasters just can't be beat for price to fun ratio. I paid 1100 for my 04 special edition that was low hour and one owner who took care of it. I put a 1300 dollar Vitos 240 fat bastard kit in it back in like 2011ish. Only had to freshen the rings once and that Lil motherf**ker still holds its own. 450 can only beat it in top end high gear field runs.....in the short Bursts of woodsy trails.....the Vitos 240 powerband can't be caught by big four strokes. I've never rode with a 700 raptor tho.... thas still on the list lmao. Well sorry for rambling. BLASTERS BABY!!! LETS GO BING BINGING!!!!

My daughter's blaster goes a little better, I just did port n polish and took 20 thousands off the head and used a higher compression piston it's at the limits of high octane pump gas. Plus went with a 34mm carb. Plus used a breathable screen air box lid and free flowing exhaust. It will eat a Polaris scrambler 400cc 2-stroke on take off and top end. I also went a tooth taller up front. 😉 looking into the late 70's early 80's yz250 or 490 in the future for it

Trinity Big Bore pipe, not made any more. 265 kit, not made any more. The piston is easy to find. Its a Kawi jet ski piston. Cometic can make you any size base and head gasket. Crank is stock. It is on its second crank now. When the sleeve is done I will have to scrap it and go with a 245cc kit.

Hey kevs, can you help me set up my blaster? I had just recently installed a Vito's big bore kit on it, but I am having problem getting it to run right. So far I got new BR9ES plug, aluminum card spacer, Pro-design intake, 28mm mikuni carb, 210 main jet, K&N straight air filter. Last week the rod bearing on the crank seized on the dry lake bed of El Mirage. Do you have any suggestions or advises for me? I would really apreaciate it. Thanks.

I know this comment is old as hell but a 210 main jet, my god! Stock jettting is a 230MJ 32.5 PJ, I had a 380 MJ in my vitos stroker with a stock carb for a little while until I went to a 35pwk
