This is what I'm getting as my Christmas gift. I've wanted it since it came out, so I'm very happy to be getting one. I'm a airgun shooter, and have never had a green gas blowback gun, however I own the umarex legends MP40 and P08 in c02, as well as other airguns like break barrels, a yunker clone AK, gamo MP9, a p90 aeg among other things, so I'm not a beginner when it comes to gas blowback guns, just green gas. It'll be nice to have a gas blowback gun I can actually modify with furniture and stuff though. I fancy getting the slidy paratrooper stock to swap out between and some wooden furniture. Perhaps even some surplus BW furniture to give it a rugged used look, or try and get the parts used on the upgraded Swedish G3's. I do prefer the more classic looks, a quad rail and M4 stock don't do it for me. Initially I think I'm gonna go for a claw mount scope or a rail with a repro acog or eotech on it, but how It is out the box will match my 90's bundeswehr loadout great. Nice review btw. I'm trying to learn what I can about the gun again before I get it. Wanna know about any quirks to expect, what type of BB to use (I've only got .20's so I'd probably need some more heavier ones) it looks great, one of the best and most realistic Airsoft guns on the market.

The First Mode i did to mine was installing antifreeze fillvalves in the magazines

I have to check that with my psg1, but as far as I know the problem exists once you remove the magazine and put in it again, because in a normal scenario once the last bb is in the chamber, the bb guide from the nozzle keeps low the magazine follower low so it doesnt activate the valve, once you shoot the last bb and the bolt carries cicles, at at time the mag follower ups to the top and the valve moves to the side, not alowing to shoot again. (Ok, now I watched the moment once you realize how it really works).

I have to admit I didn’t test it enough before I made this review, hence my surprise 😂 But I’m glad it works like the real steel variant, I was afraid this would teach me bad habits 😂

Nice review! Though I do wonder how one would go about replacing the o-ring inside the blowback unit since its appearently glued shut.

I'd honestly try getting a whole new nozzle if you need to replace anything in it. But on the other hand, finding spare parts for this gun is HELL.

Hi, do you think there is a mod to get the Charging handle more stiff. I’m about to order one and it is super expensive and we almost have to smuggle it to get one where I live. One VFC G3A3 Gbbr + 2x Mag cost 1,000$USD and the weak charging handle that you manage to pull with your pinky worries me a little bit.

Try to get hold of a real steel charging handle. They're extremely stiff and a lot more pleasant to use. Many of the parts from the real steel G3 work with this gun!

Awsome gbbrs, mine has a mp5 trigger group and guard along with ar stock love it but way to hot on .4s with how uk sites are these days going by jules and not 450fps on .2s

Man, I tell you, this gun is such a bitch to get behaving :D It arrived shooting 4 joules on blue gas with .3s, had to turn the NPAS right down but the problem now it's field legal is the kick is just not at all satisfying :D

That click at 3:18 is the trigger resetting. It's completely normal.

I'm aware. Just don't like it because the real one has a clear wall. The airsoft one just doesn't and I hate it 😂

I always wondered if Real Steel aftermerket stocks would fit this, specifically the Magpul PRS2 stock for the G3.

How to spot a guy trained with an G3: Nr 1: he puts the pins into their designated holes when dissasembling.

Yeah the threat of being the camp cook for 3 days if they lose the pins will teach any conscript to use the designated pin holes for disassembly haha 😂😂😂

@@TheeAlexander We were trained to do a dissasembly and assembly blindfolded, i learned to put them in just enough to hold them in place but not block when puting on the part, scored me first place and an extra can of soda for the evening.
