Great video man, I couldn't afford the HK so I picked up an AP5-P. I've been looking for a good suppressor to use on it, 6" or less. So far the Omega 9k and the YHM R9 stand out. Without shooting first hand its hard to know which suppressor has the best balance of size and suppression. What suppressors would you recommend for this platform? Thanks!

That sounds so quiet , is there a locking piece that will run it with and without a can ? . I know you have shot the ptr 32 suppressed , did you change the locking piece on that ? I have a new silencerco omega 36 , I don’t want to hurt it by using the wrong parts .

I usually just run the 100* LP with and without the suppressor on the K. If I'm doing a lot of suppressed shooting, I'll switch to the 80*, but It's not always reliable unsuppressed. I don't believe I changed the LP on the PTR32. The ROF on that is slow to begin with.

Great video! I had frequent FTE with the 80LP, unsuppressed and sometimes suppressed so i just run the 100 degree. For fun sometimes I’ll run the 110 degree LP which gives it a ridiculously fast rate of fire unsuppressed.

hi, I recently had asked my gun importer to get me MP5K, instead he got me sp5k, which I understand was a semi auto version, like yours it came with a matching number select fire trigger pack along with all import papers and bills. I was wondering, what's the story behind it, all the papers came from HK USA, why sp5k and now mp5k.....

when you attach suppressor, how much does it reduce affective range?

It doesn't. Running subsonic ammo will, but the suppressor itself actually slightly increases range and velocity. A good way to guesstimate it is by half, so if it's a 6" can, it'll increase velocity/range about as much as a barrel 3" longer than normal would.

Question....for those of us that have the very expensive piece of metal.... Did you modify the host or use the screw in trip on the carrier? Since the host has a shelf and no factory sear...does modifying the host make it class 3? After searching for the answer everywhere, the answer is still unclear to me. Thanks! RCM makes a full auto carrier that drops into the SP5K without modification, or you can have a trip ramp welded on the semi auto carrier that came with your SP5K. That's really all you need to do. You can use the original SP5K trigger housing for your FA pack, if it's setup as an ambi or burst pack. No modification is done to the receiver, so your SP5K stays a title one firearm.

@@HarleyF250guy For the SP5, you can either purchase TSC Machine's modified carrier with a screw in trip ramp, or send your receiver out to get a US style shelf welded on and have there the carrier block removed. You could also shave about an 1/8" off the top of the carrier block and drop in a full auto carrier, but there are people the question the legality of this.

Hello Irm1981, I'd be grateful for a little help please. I just purchased a new HKSP5K and am about to purchase a legal Fleming auto trigger pack (very very expensive. However, all my research is telling me that this cannot work on my HKSP5K - but I watched your video where you have it working beautifully. I purchased the FA RCM bolt carrier, but most videos mention an issue with the new K model's lower attachment. All I need is some direction on who to get a correct answer from. I naturally want to complete this project in accordance with all ATF laws. Would you mind directing me to anyone who might be able to advise me? Thank you very much

The new SP5K PDW models have a different type of carrier block, so that RCM carrier won't work. TSC Machine makes a carrier option for the K PDW and I would suggest reaching out to them for the details on getting it running with your sear.

A Century AP5 w/ binary is 90% of the way there. It just takes a bit more effort to pull & release for every 2 shots, but you can easily run that setup nearly as fast (like 6-800rpm vs the 900ish seen in this video). Plus, that setup w/ a few mags should run you $2k max. Definitely the best way to do it inexpensively. Alternatively, get your SOT-2 which is about $1k alone, then the gun and plus auto-pack, but you MUST be engaged in dealing as a business too.
