Cactus Maximus thank you so much for making this video. I never knew that their was a way to service an impact driver. However I thank you so much for showing how to service an H.K.Porter impact driver. It means so much to me because my dad used to work In their Somerville, Massachusetts forging plant and I have his impact driver from that plant from the 1960s with quite a few screwdriver bits. It is one of many tools made from that plant.❤

I have a Craftsman impact driver that is 50 years old. It was a life saver on those dirt bike engine cases. The Japanese JIS bits cost as much as the impact driver.

I have an old-time Williams impact driver; love it!! It's a mighty machine!! (I usually tap it with my 3 lb. or ball and ping hammers.) This is a great review of HK Porter's model. Thanks.

Never personally seen one, but Koken has a large selection of the things in 3/8, 1/2 & 3/4" drive... marketed as 'Attack Drivers'. They also have loads bits & at least one rebuild kit.

yep, them Ko-ken Attack Drivers are the best ones on the market, even better than Snap-on or Gedore k1900 or the old Facom, speaking of Facom, they've stopped making their own and are now rebranding Ko-ken like other top brands around the world. 😗👌 the Japan-made Vessel 2500 is still the best in the quality/durability/price category for 1/2" though. there's also the Anex 1903 in 1/4", also made in Japan and not that expensive, that comes handy when working on smaller stuff. 😉

Catus Maximus that impact driver I know was being made at least in the 1960s. I've seen several sizes. I have my dad's which is 3/8" drive. I know those tools made there were made well because they hade one of the best machinists I know that was my dad. I have his that still works great. I collect as many of their tools made there that I can find. So far I'm up to 40 tools 95% are cutting tools all the way back to Henry K Porter's patent sample of a New Easy bolt cutter which had cutting jaw adjustment using metal wedges. He was a partner in a Boston machine shop at the time. Take good care of that tool and the bits.❤

Impakdriver is not misspelled. They did that to trademark the name. That one looks almost identical to the Snap-on impact driver I got from my father except the one I have is silver and not blue.

✌️ Seen a water spout today. It was going to hit Shark Key While I was on the east side of the island. It was to my N.E. in the Gulf of Mexico. Then it Dissipated back up into the clouds...it was a 1/4 mile off shore.😂👍👍👍 Enjoyed the review Catus 🍺🏝☠️

I enjoyed the video of speedboat guy driving straight though the waterspout and immediately regretting it.

@@PelicanPoopof72 I saw an F 4 tornado that grazed my small college town in Kansas about 4 years ago. It looked like the end of the world, dark like night at 5pm summer. I rushed home and carried my 80lb pitboxer and husky into the basement. Truly terrifying. Wish I could see it in H2O form far away. bet it's magnificent

@gypsydildopunks7083 , I've been under a hurricane many of times ans through the eye of Hurricane Irma years ago when she Blew through downtown Fort Lauderdale. When I was up in N.W. Florida I really got the understanding of a hurricane when Hurricane Mike took out Panama City...that was something else unlike I had ever seen off a storm off the Atlantic. I sure do appreciate the condos stopping the wind off of the beach Hurricane Ike scare me long ago when I had lived here on the Island of Key West. But thank God the eye of the storm was still south of Cuba. Years ago I drove for Warner Enterprises and I didn't care for that job...but I did go through Arizona and saw a dirt devil on both sides of the Hi Way running along I-10. Texas I saw the Tumble weeds run across the road in the darkness.... ...but what really amazed me was I was in South Dakota and a tornado 🌪 was running across the road....and I saw clouds 10 feet off the ground....I hit the bunk and woke up my trainer and said what was that? It looked like clouds. He told me to turn on the C.B. and sure enough it was a Toronto behind us running over the hi way and knocked over a tractor trailer....since I was in a Owner Operator Truck and I pushed that hammer to do 90...instead of the 68mph. The waster spout I saw was a small one and she did touch the Gulf the storm was not any bigger then a mile wide cell....that's why it was never reported but I do have a couple of pictures of it .... I'm sorry I can't share them with you cause I don't know crap about computers until one of my kids get down here on this part of the state to do it for me.✌️ peace out.
