The Lisle I just received is identical to the Carquest model in your demonstration. They must have updated the model.

The HF impact screwdriver works like the Lisle too. I also like it's grippy rubber-like grip.

What model number is this one? Lisle makes other ones that look like the cheap one you showed.

The Liesl 30200 uses the newer design. Which direction you need to turn it is stamped on the handle. I've had a good experience with it.

Thanks! I had a cheap Impact driver years ago which was so useless (for just the reasons you pointed out) it scared me from getting another one. And, I've needed one countless times.

Yes there are lots of good impact drivers as well as many not very good ones the easiest tip is just too check them out and make sure that they don't have any play in their resting position that's what causes the biggest issue

@@CatusMaximus - My high hopes have been dashed. I had a new Lisle 30200 Impact Driver Set shipped to me; it is NO LONGER the tool you feature, here. In fact, the only indication of the country of origin is a very tiny notation on the case which says "Made of USA and Global Components", and, I know well what that means. I guess I'll have to look to Snap-On. I've become fed up with having to parse every tool trying to avoid the junk which China dumps here. If I have to check every tomato in the peck, I just get another tomato farmer.

My impact driver is a Lisle but it is just like the one you say is no good.

They are just regular looking screw drivers not like the impact in this video.

Couple of beaters. Craftsman selling japan made impact screwdrivers turns 12 dog per whack.

I also just purchased a new Lisle impact driver and it's junk , not built like the old ones. Regret buying it.
