Hi all, I would've thought I would just stop talking about about the HK protests after my last video, but after the absurd claim from the protesters of Hong Kong police's "terrorist attack" at Prince Edward MTR station last night, I just want to shed some light on this and share what has really happened beforehand.
Just while they were "fighting for democracy", do the protesters have the right to interrupt millions of people who are going to use these trains every single day, or the tourists/businessmen who are flying through HK airport? My point is, if you can't do the time, don't do the crime.

Now, 2 months on, the "peaceful protestors" dosed an old man in gasoline, lit him on fire, laughed and chatted while he and his terrorist friends watch him burn. +1 for this channel's creator. He saw this coming. ISIS's other speciality, aside from burning people, is beheading people. Wait for it.

The movement's poster boy Joshua Wong proudly called the arsonists "fire magicians" on twitter. Also disgusting to see the rioters claiming that the 57 year old victim was merely a stuntman with VFX effects. Btw where have you been Jeffles?

Something drastic might have to be done by the government if things are going on as it is, so I sincerely hope the protesters would stop what they’re doing and the government would not need to resort to these absolute measures to tackle this crisis. Fingers crossed! All we could do is to do our part and be positive :)

I have seen a video of this protesters beating up people that are trying to use the subway. I just want to ask if those videos are legit because I am really worried about the kind of people leading this protesters if this is the kind of thing they are willing to do. The video of the police beating up teenagers with their batons was heartbreaking but seeing a video of those teenagers beating up older men that are just trying to get to work breaks my heart even more.

Yeah I know there are questions around how the police force could handle these protesters but this would be a whole new topic. But you’re right I’m quite worried about these young protesters who have basically lost all their basic values and being brainwashed to thinking they’re serving justice, yet they did the same thing as the police and took things into their own matter.

@@JefflesChangy All that I can say now is that there are two sides of a story and it is disheartening to see both sides being hurt fighting for what they believe. I do hope that the protesters go back to a more peaceful method and have the chance to settle all of this through communication and dialogue but after all the violence I am sure that there are some people that are going to have a hard time forgiving the other side and would be out looking for blood. This is what breaks my heart. My prayers to Hong Kong and I hope that things would get better for the future.

I saw that as well. I'm sad to say it's most likely true. Because I've heard others who experienced being threatened when they asked protestors not to stop the train door from closing or disrupt traffic. If those that oppose their actions didnt stop, I imagine the protestors would have beaten them just as they did to people who spoke out against the protests. Yet they are blind to these issues and easily manipulated by social media rants and fake news...

Blocking airport is an act of terrorism. It lowers the safety standard of flight, which potentially can harm passenger. In other countries, the US included, these terrorists will be dealt with very strongly. I don't care what the issue may be, airport is off limits to protest.

@@JefflesChangy Good to know mate. I am refraining from talking about politics because I am a foreigner (neither Chinese citizen nor Hong Kong resident), and my opinion should not interfere with your internal problems. But when it comes to airport, I believe I have a say. Maintenance of airplane, safety checks get interrupted by protesters entering airport. Why tolerate this breach of security? Honestly, i am capitalist and i never imagine in my life to defend a country like a China, but here they are 100% right in this matter. Let me make the story straight about what i know after i read both side and i was investigate all the the lastest problems right there. Firts, all these riots started after Hong Kong approved the "extradition law" that allowed to send to mainland China all the criminals from HKG to be prosecuted. This decition isn't new, there are a lot of problems behind to be determinated to got this law, but for what i know, the "inflexion point" started about one crime: One couple from HKG when to Taiwan for Valentine day, and the guy killed his ex gf, he put it her inside of a suitcase, and let her inside of a lockers in Taipei Station like a potatoe bag without humanity or respect for her. That guy back to HKG, and that guy when the police in Taiwan knew that crime was commited by him, police try to bring him back to Taiwan to be interrogated for that crime, obviously he refused and now that guy is a free man, because between HKG and Taiwan there is not any extradition law to send criminals to other countries even if there are enough proof to be prosecuted by law like this case. Search the case "Chan Tong-Kais". So the question i will ask my self in this case is: 1-Why are you protecting criminals??? 2-Why don't you want to send criminals to the country where they commited a crime, could you imagine if someone from abroad would do the same in your homeland?? The protesters will tell you "Because China doesn't respect human rights"...well, which kind of "human rights" do i should protect of someone that killed his GF, cutting on pieces and putting her on a suitcase??? I am wondering.. But the fact is, these criminals, aren't going to China to be prosecuted in China, not, this is completely false, with this new law, they will go straight to the country where they committed the crimes, any problem for that??? I don'T think so. Btw, always i have a leiv motiv in life "If you have nothing to hide, you have nothing to fear". So, if you are a regular guy in HKG that study, working, spending time with friends and family, enjoying life...why would you feel scary abut this law?? Doesn't make any sense to be honest. Second, these people aren't fight for the "democracy", and if they were, honestly...if i was from HKG i will feel really scary about these people that try to bring the "democracy" by riots, by blocking roads, attacking the authorithies, throwing rocks, insulting other people, blocking the international airports, business and destroyed the tourism to bring the "democracy". First it all, look the back ground of these protestors, they aren't the most "smart and clever" people right there, they are not doctors, lawyers, engineers, they are low class people with too much anger and hatred, unsuccessful on life that blame everyone except the only they should do: themselves. Hong Kong it was, it is and always will be part of China, it was a gap in the history of that Island when British settled there and took it for a certain period of time, but in 1997 they gave back to the legitimate owner: China, and all the people from HKG they knew the agreement: one country, two systems until 2047, and the funny thing is they want to get "freedom" and be "independent"...raising UK flags of the Colony era, is a completely joke and this situation became crazy and out of control at the moment this riots became very crazy(by both sides). Life is more simple than you can imagine, when a police officer will ask you to show your ID, you must to do, wait until he do his job to indetify who you are, and then say Thank you to him, but, if you try to be the "big boss" out there and you deny his job, laughing on him and actually attack him, man, don't expect they will treat you with sweet words. So now lets make a little brief if there are kids on the room: HKG wasn't a country, isn't and will not be never. The problem here is that a few people from that Islands try to keep their privileges as a fiscal paradise and don't share with China, the English word to describe this is "Greedy". But well, they still people confuse between their wishes and the reality that hit in their faces with FACTS. In simple words, these riots are Terrorists, and China is 100% right.

Reply to your question number 1: because with the new law, China government can put anyone into jail or catch anyone back to China, by saying or doing something that against The president of China - Mr Xi’s will. For example: if you say Mr Xi is not a good person in general, then you will be in jail. and I am not kidding with you with my example. Which means Hk will lose their freedom of speech once the law is Settled. And trust me, the law itself is fine and nothing wrong with it. But it’s all about who used the law. And according to the history of China government, this law will caught ppl into trouble rather than helps them to build a Better society.

@@siudolaisig6496 Replay your answer: 1-FALSE, the new law is just to send to China murders, rapist and thieves...not ordinary people, btw, are u in the Criminal's side, or in the ordinary people's side??? If you are not a murder,rapist or thief...in which way would you affect to your life this new law?? Don't think too much, i will anser for you: NOTHING. 2-Not, i can't trust you bro, you because you are defending a snowflakes from HKG that using thugs styles and criminal mind to attack the authorities, destroying business, and blocking roads and the airport just to try to settle down their idea of "democracy" that is actually 100% opposite that those morons try to do.

I will stop replying to your comments after this since I know this conversation will not go anywhere. I stand by my words and am not ashamed of it. Prove me wrong if HK people deserve to have democracy - at the moment I can’t see this happening, when there is a significant portion of the people who are just very small minded (like yourself) and absolutely failed to see things in a bigger picture. Democracy is about working towards a common goal for the greater good of the society, how does destroying public infrastructure help with this in any sense? Rather than being sour of someone’s situation, how about you work on yourself, or find a way to make your life better, rather than keep complaining while doing nothing constructive? I’m sorry this is a hard pill to swallow, but as a fellow Hk’er myself, this just has to be said. Stop whining and actually start doing something constructive to the society. Period.

Jeffles Changy I believe democracy is a universal human right. Every individual should be allowed to voice their opinion in regards to how their own society is run, and it shouldn’t be up to a few to decide who has a say. We know this is true by considering the response you would have if, for example, a few people decided it was in your best interest to confiscate your property without your consent. Under your proposed ideology, you would have to agree that this situation is acceptable.

@JefflesChangy
@JefflesChangy 5 жыл бұрын
kzbin.info/www/bejne/mKqWppR_frSkptk I think this clip explains everything - protesters dressing like ISIS, unlawful use of violence and damage at the train station to disrupt the the operation of the MTR and impacted millions of HK people, intimidation against normal citizens (like the old guy in the clip) and bullying those who hold different views than them online, in the pursuit of political aims. That fits quite well to your definition so thanks for that. Don’t glorify their acts and claim that they’re fighting for freedom and democracy, because they’re not. I wonder if they even know what that means. If they broke the laws, don’t cry police brutality - their privileges are automatically lost the moment they broke the laws, and that’s universal across the world. Or do you think these rioters have the right to go above the laws and destroy public property?

I can tell you’re basing this on the videos that you could see on mainstream media. There are already footage of these protesters getting arrested then escaped from the police and got onto the trains. Are they innocent? I have my reservations on this. With that being said, I just want to say it’s easy for us to jump into conclusions if we only see a small part of the incident.

Jeffles Changy I watched the events unfold live, did you? You are justifying the indiscriminate use of force, which is morally unjustifiable. The protestors’ actions did not justify the polices’ use of indiscriminate force, rushing into train cars and beating everyone on board - some protestors, and some people just trying to get home. You can disagree with the protestors tactics, but to justify the police action is unconscionable.

Hey mate, I’m all for voicing their frustrations, but again some people but take things to their own hand without thinking the consequences to the wider public. They could’ve taken these concerns and do something directly to Carrie Lam or PLA if they would really want to do so, I’m just a bit skeptical when it comes to disrupting MTR and the airport. At the end of the day, when these disruptions continue, it is whole HK that has to suffer from economic downturn. People wouldn’t even have the luxury to come out and fight for these ideals when they cannot feed themselves. I just hope all parties could resolve this calmly and that’s the most important thing. Thanks for the input mate.
