#hongkongprotests #hongkongnationalsecuritylaw #standwithhongkong
Hi again. Today I will deliver a slightly more serious topic on Hong Kong - which is the recent National Security Law which is in the process of being implemented in the city by China, and it has hit international headlines left, right and centre.
Some questions are:
- Are the protesters really fighting for freedom and democracy? Or are they being manipulative with the social movement by oppressing people who don't agree with them?
- Are Hong Kong people really losing their freedom? How would things change under this new law?
- Does Donald Trump really stand with Hong Kong? Or is it simply a lip service?
Either way, these riots need to be stopped. If you are a law abiding citizen, there's really nothing that you should be afraid of. The only ones that are scared would be the ones who keep blatantly breaking the law and order of the city by hurling petrols bombs and damaging infrastructure, and with this law they can't get away with this anymore.

And, it shouldn't as Hong Kong is always a part of China and was snatched away by the British after the Opium War.

Why don't world leaders show the same concern for the people tortured in Guantanamo without charge for 20 years? What about their human rights?

You don't know. Protesters are right because china impost wrong law doesn't keep his agreement with British. China should let Hong Kong authority to do their job why china interfere in this matter.

If the protesters did not destroy the city by hurling petrol bombs and hurting innocent people, China does not need to implement this law in the first place. Do I think China is being forceful in this case? Yes since they actually bypassed the HK legislative system to implement the law. But at the end of the day, the protesters brought this law to themselves. What place in the world will purposely ask US to sanction their own city? HK’ers enjoyed all sorts of freedom until they started rioting over the past year, and both HK and Chinese government have been very lenient until this point.

@@JefflesChangy The right of demonstration is clearly enlisted in the basic law, people in HK were exercising their right all along and the imposition of National Security Law is depriving such rights and undermining the rule of law in HK. Moreover, never did protestors in HK attack a single innocent passerby in the protests.Arms were deployed to defend their personal safety when the riot police were abusing their weapons ferociously. The CCP and the HK government is the culprit of the deprivation of freedom in HK and the request on sanctions is a seek of help from the free world to protect the universal rights exercised here in HK, by no means inappropriate or immoral.

Protesting is allowed, but destroying the city and attempting to kill innocent people is not a human right. In fact, if the same thing is to happen in Australia or the US, they would've been arrested since day 1. Look at the what happened in the "free world" in the US - the Capital Hill insurrection is considered a domestic terrorist attack. Oh btw, the KZbin videos that I've showed you is only a tip of the iceberg. Do you know what is universal rights? The right to live in stability and go on with their day to day lives, without being interrupted by these "protesters" who attempted to destroy this city. You might want to look at how Iran and Venezuela ended up under US sanction, and how their current economy is like. People would die to have the US lifting these sanctions. Be careful what you're wishing for. And it is so absurd that people actually wish that to happen in Hong Kong...

Thanks for putting that all together, it gets harder and harder to protect yourself from western propaganda and you help with information (which is the best weapon). I just have one question which I can't find the answer to anywhere, will the media be censored in Hong Kong due to the bill and the 'firewall' of China extended to ban many websites such as youtube?

@@JefflesChangy No prob. Tired of these dummie Westerners, but tens or hundreds of millions of people are just like this guy, so we do what we can. This coming century, as this geopolitical, hegemonic landscape becomes more multilateral the voices from other countries will be heard more. And slowly...Americans will learn. SLOWLY

He seems genuine. But it doesn't look like he understands where the protesters are coming from. Not surprising, since the protesters tend to be confused in themselves: The way he phrases it seems like he thinks their freedoms are given to them by the govt. If they were truly free, as the Americans say, they would be born with these freedoms to begin with.
WILL IT BURST?
