How is the brace holding up? Does this brace come into contact with and scratch the paint on the rail slot it rides in? I like the flush look but really don’t want to ruin the finish on the gun itself

The brace is holding up good. No wobbling at all. It does not scratch the paint. If you are worry, you could add some silicon grease or lube before you use it.

We had to use a plastic mallet to tap in our KES stock. I'll be a lot of removing it to clean the gun....

Yep, not easy to take down. MP5/SP5 has only one take down pin. But we installed the aftermarket stock to ruin their GOOD design. LOL

It feels good. And I have no problem to use the iron sights. SP5 is soft. It does not hurt at all with tailhook

No, you need to buy different one for MP5-K model. Safety harbour official site has the one for AP5-p or AP5-m

It works really well on my MKE AP5-P. Press the button & the stock slides in or out with just gravity, with or without the tailhook when verticle or near vertical. Beautiful.

@Lil Danny I bought all the stock parts direct from the manufacturer SAFETY HARBOR FIREARMS in Florida. I got the full brace kit for the Mod1C with the additional stock as I SBRd the pistol. The GEARHEAD WORKS TAILHOOK MOD1C was from A3 TACTICAL because Safety Harbor had sold out of them. The Mod1C is a beautiful work of art as well as a machining masterpiece.
