HK to Istanbul Vlog | Flying 23 hours with bronchitis, disappointing hotel room tour

We needed a holiday but in the end our journey was full of disappointment. I was planning on making a proper Istanbul travel vlog. But I think in my next video I need to talk about all the problems I faced. As much as I like uploading positive content. I want to share my negative experience.

Trust me Turkey is a very tiring country to travel, every tourist spots spread btn 6 or 7 hours drive. That's why I ve been there twice and I will never go back again and their food is so dry, everything is grilled and they hate Chinese cooking with too many gravy. The men will come over to you crazily or scarily if you walk alone (my hubby went for work and I walk alone sometimes? Luckily, you have a wonderfully hubby with no temper to share life w you everyday.

One of the things we need to try our luck when traveling is the hotel. Two weeks ago in London I stayed in a hotel near Russell Square it had no air conditioning but only fans - I sweated all night when slept. It costs HKD2000+ per night. Someone said it’s quite normal for hotel with no A/C in the Uk. Is it normal ? I really don’t know.😅😅

Haha yes unfortunately England is a country with no AC. In the summer I used to have a fan in my room and put a wet towel around my neck 🤣. That's why a lot of British people can't get used to the AC in HK. I take a cardigan to shopping malls so I don't freeze 😂😂

Speaking of prices. My hotel was not worth $4000HKD 😅

They may claim to be a 4 star hotel but that is definitely not a 4 star. Hope you guys got a better room in the end!

It was a little bit better but still wouldn't give this hotel 4 stars 😂. In our next room the toilet wouldn't stop flushing.
