You said your USPC 9mm has the "standard" LEM trigger. Which springs (TRS, FPBS, and Mainspring) are used in that gun? I just ordered a bunch of springs and am about to convert my "Heavy" to something light but acceptable as selfdefense gun.

I sold that gun, but I think it was actually heavy LEM. You'll need to swap the hammer spring and TRS. Watch this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fWKViJaOjsZ6pNU The only spring not shown in the video is one used in your gun. Match is going to be too light for a carry gun. I'm not sure about the compact, but I know the fullsize USP "standard" hammer spring is blue. Good luck.

Sights for the USP should be different and won't fit into the slide of an HK45. I also think the 9/40 and 45 sights have some differences. The adjustable sights on the USP are wider in the 45 than the slide.

They're floating around out there now. Not much different than a standard USP. I actually just acquired a USP 9 elite with a Merkle tuning weight. Very nice shooting!

are jet funnel mags as reliable as standart usp mags? what do you think?

HK does not recommend then for duty use. However, they have been rock solid for me, but have issues with the extended mag release.

+FirearmTutorials .com i think because it is plastic and wont resist that much hard impact. actually i wonder does it fire and cycles every time when i pull the trigger? simply for carry gun magazine. 15 rounds with less malfunction possibility is better than 18 rnds heh? i dont know that mag release is manufactured by hk itself but this is third time i read people having problems with it. it seems like we have to keep using that small pedal. however it is natural and well made but still big issue for small hands.

+john harrison The issue isn't that they are plastic, the issue is the metal floor plate. HK claims if you drop a loaded JF mag and it hits the pavement it will knock the rounds loose and potentially cause a jam up re-insertion. I never find myself in that particular situation. The JF mags are expensive. About $20 more per mag!!! The extended mag release causes an issue because the JF mag is plastic and the notch is metal. Metal vs. plastics: metal wins... I’ve never had an issue with my plastic JF mags but I like the way the metal JF mag feels better. The extra weight is good for me.

No you cannot. It would damage the slide, barrel, or both. I'm not even sure the compact barrel would "lock up" with a fullsize slide.

WHY ARE THE USP EXPERT SIGHTS ADJUSTABLE? DOES THIS MEAN THAT BY THE TIME YOU GET THIS GUN YOU REALLY HAVE TO ADJUST THEM? OR YOU HAVE TO ADJUST THEM WHENEVER THERE IS STRONG WIND ETC???

They are zeroed at the factory. Since it's aimed at competition use, I think the idea is that you could adjust the sights for different POI depending on your distance. So if you are shooting at 25 yards, your zero will be different than 5 yards. Thanks for watching.

HK's tend to be very good from the factory. The only things you'll have to do is adjust for the distances you shoot at and your tendency to pull shots right/left

damn, well for you I guess it really doesn't matter haha, I live in VA, so the 15 rnd mag isn't a problem. looking at the video, compared to the compact it doesnt seem too bad (big) though.

I am from Michigan. And wear i am from they allow you to have a CCW and i still love to carry a full-size. I am a big person at 6'1 and weight 315 pound i love the fire power of a 15 round magazines over the compact.

I wish. I had an issue with customer service at HK once. Wrote them a letter explaining how I love HK guns and have spent a boat load of money on them but never had an issue with any of my Glocks. They never replied.
