Agreed. I just brought home a 2023 G70 with the 3.3tt it's an amazing vehicle. I want to add an BOV too but doesn't it affect the engine at all? I know the computer is expecting the air to be recycled. Just asking before I install them on mine. Sorry if it's a dumb question

Sounds great, I have two buddies one with a G70 and Stinger respectively. Both run HKS SSQV and sound great. I ran one on my 2018 Elantra Sport, but switched to the GFB Response BOV so I can have the option to VTA or Not. Because sometimes I want to be obscure lol. Can't wait to see more of what you do to your Stinger!!

You don't even need the blow off valve. Just put the cap on the intake, and the car will have that pressure releasing sound. You don't have to worry about those caps coming off. That's a vacuum so it sucks it in

I have them on mine, did red vaccuum lines to match the BMS intakes and braces under the hood......your MPG will go to hell because all you wanna do is hear that PHIISSSHHHHH all day hahah

Hello, good question! So from what I heard from other owners pf 2020 optimas. Is that there is no power modifications for them there for limiting you to only cosmetic modifications. That being said I suggest starting with suspension and wheels💪

I have the 2019 Kia Optima FE and unfortunately he is correct about modifying to increase horse power. It’s a family fuel economy car. With that being said it still packs a punch for 185 hp. I never have an issue maneuvering in traffic. Suspension would be beneficial though. To give you even more control of the vehicle

Hey man, I’m helping my dad out and he used your video to do the install on his HKS, when the car is in parked and we were testing the BOVs the driver side BOV purges air but the passenger side does not. Is that normal? Or should they both purge when the car is parked?

They should both purge, check out for boost leaks and couplers on the turbos. Hope my video helped!

So far no issues with it. But i did notice if you any leak on the lines the sensors cut boost. So its best to use minimal cuts of lines to prevent boost leaks.

What tool did you use to secure bolts onto car? The bovs can twist but no room for like a wrench at all to thighten with such a narrow angle so curious how you bolted them down securely

Question why with those valves do you have to block off the intake lines? And will the intakes still work if you do that?

That is for the emissions on noise control laws. That valve blows the air into the intakes there for lowering noise pollution

So taking off the recirculating air hoses for the intakes won’t affect anything ? Would it affect how fast the boost will build since that’s what the line is for ? ( please correct me if I’m wrong)

Those collect to the crankcase, but if you have a catch can setup with a filter to the crank case then it doesn’t matter.
