Perfect choice are they real ones because a few years back there were fake ones on the market that were good counterfeits that would wear out real fast.Keep up the great work. Cant afford the Stinger but looking into the Hyundai N US model.

The size of the intake pipe caps will be the same for both aftermarket and factory intakes, as both still use the factory recirculation hose.

You'd have to check and measure it out - that's what we did. Paul from K8 send me a link to the chair tips and I just picked the 1 inch ones after measurements.

veloster turbo owners have done the chair cap on the intake method as well. Simply go to your nearest lowes or home depot. they have a plethora or caps.

I used to love this sound on my turbo eclipse back in the day. I find it pretty obnoxious these days, especially on a more "luxury" oriented vehicle. Not to mention in most cases the car runs a bit worse with externally vented BOV because of a short rich condition after letting off the gas.

That doesn't happen on this car because it uses a MAP, not a MAF. Totally safe, but not necessary on a stock car, perfectly safe & just for sound tho :)

Thin. That's weird.. Idk it should def be loud like that or sound the same. Unless the exhaust or intake has anything to do with increasing the sound but I doubt that.

We share the exact same adapter flange for the BOV. I just ordered mine and it's a bit trickier on the 2nd gen veloster. I'm wondering how I'm going to even tighten that snap ring at such a odd angle!

It was strange but we went out and purchased that tool for it at auto zone, it's still not a breeze you should be able to get it though!

@@justintrinh8766 You probably got this sorted already but you have to take the coldpipe out, it makes the install much easier to put in the BOV. You need a snapring tool which makes this job a lot easier as well.

Sounds great, it’s unfortunate they are so expensive, pretty much a what $700 noise mod? And man the car sounds good under load but add a resonator to clean it up!

Gives your access to that HP more quickly after shift changes so it is more than just sound and release.. Other companies have them for a less $400-$500 but these are the most efficient and I'm always going to go with the best if I'm able.

Vivid Visual not sure I agree with that. I’ve owned several turbo cars and factory turbo/wastegate and all had no benefit from a VTA BOV. Are you tuning the car for the unmetered air being released?

With a K&N Intake you do not even need blow off valves, the diverter valves are actually louder than the BOV's installed in this video, and they sound better. More like a velociraptor bark when you let off the gas under boost.

@@s2knott thats hot unregulated air blowing back into the intake. Wouldn't removing hot unregulated air going into the intake be a good thing for the engine. This is more for aesthetics, not performance.

Well so far I have every single bolt on modification you can do to the car hahaha so I don't think you can get a CEL unless you redo the engine compartment. Not sure as of yet but I have an exhaust, HFC downpipe midpipe straight to the TURBOS, intake, BOV, intercooler, catch can, snorkel ducts, piggyback... so I've done everything except a real tune which we may or may not see in 2019. Not it's continuing to build exterior and interior aesthetics until more stuff releases like bigger TURBOS and who knows, if this channel does really well I'll get a titanium exhaust for you guys to see.

Removed the center piece of the blow of Vale it will sound better, that's what I did to my. You get shsss sound with out the Wiesel sound

I only had them on for a few weeks, my car went through an oil leak issue so I had to put the car back to stock back in November. I haven't been able to put these babies back on as they are at my buddies how and he moved 3 hours away so we are trying to plan a trip to get these back on the car lol

It's not dimly lit, I use internal ND filters from the camera in order to compensate so we see the background - otherwise it would be blown out.
