I feel like Purpose was more of a sort of "mind palace" thing meant to take you through the author's perspective on creativity and art. The ending bit wasn't a heel turn to having you be "trapped". It was how, by playing through the map and appreciating it, you have become an exhibit of your own from the creator's perspective: they only have a single window into your life, just like you've been looking at windows into their own. You are an exhibit to them, and vice versa. It felt like a really beautiful experience to me.

Like I said in my comment about 10 days ago, I'm still going through some hard times. Went to my grandfathers funeral today and it absolutely broke me. At least I can count on the Librarian to surprise me with another fun video to help me through my day.

I like it when custom maps in Source (and Source 2) use Zombies without the Headcrabs. Actually makes them 100% more scary because it's no longer some alien creature piloting the hijacked nervous system of some unfortunate soul.

Discarded is connected to another map of their. It’s Extraordinary Value and it’s a really good map. More in line with normal Half Life Alyx gameplay than horror/atmosphere
