Instrument limitations, for one. Bari sax has a hard low limit of A (but often only Bb for cheaper horns). Some of the chords are muddier when you take them lower, so there's a fine line between accuracy and listening pleasure when you arrange a tune from one performance method to another.

Our middle school kept playing megalovania on the band room piano and our band director got so fed up, not because we played it, but because people only ever played the famous beginning riff, and not the whole song. He later said you can't play it unless you play the whole thing. Then our jazz band BEGGED to play megalovania in a concert and he finally agreed. We played this exact rendition. It was so much fun. I personally like this version more now because of it.
