I heard a band kid that plays the clarinet on my bus say that they call the clarinet and flute a sadness stick since you can't hear them much when they play because of the brass and percussion kids. I guess I'm lucky I chose the violin but that means I'm in orchestra and the band kids get to do things that are more fun but at least we get to go to a state fair in 7th and 8th grade for a compition and get to go on rides instead of doing a parade for the elementary schools but, you get some you lose some. At least the orchestra Teacher's chill.
